This breed is known for its intelligence, loyalty, and high energy levels, so Ranger would thrive in a home with plenty of space to run and play. With the right training and socialization, Australian Cattle Dogs can become great companions for the whole family. If you're looking for an active and devoted four-legged friend, Ranger might be the perfect match for you! The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A meet-and-greet is required for all shelter dogs 6 months and older if you already have a dog. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!

If so, check out Emma and look no further! Emma is a young Cattle Dog mix (about 1 ½ - 2 years) and weighs about 22 pounds. She gets along with other dogs and loves people—a lot!. True to her breed, Emma loves to play and explore and would do well with someone who will spend lots of time with her and keep her well exercised. Emma came to us in the end of January as a stray from Cleveland. She was very pregnant and gave birth two weeks later to five beautiful puppies! Emma was a GREAT mom, but now it’s time for her to finally get to be the center of someone’s attention as she LOVES people and would gladly cuddle with you on the couch as much as should would go for a nice long walk!
