Story
This is Rosy. Rosy is the most timid out of the litter. She is also by far the sweetest. This sweet girl loves to be held like a baby, and just wants to sleep next to you. She is constantly on her back for belly rubs. She does like to walk, and does well on a leash, but being a little smaller than the other 3 she does get tired easier and likes to hitch a ride in the stroller with the toddler. She LOVES to carry a ball around and chase it around the house. She has mastered sit, and is starting to work on down. She is doing well with potty training just like her sisters. Shes just a sweet baby who prefers the love of her humans. She likes other dogs, but she is a little more reserved and tends to sit back for a while before she is comfortable enough to play. She love little kids and warms up quickly to big kids. She just needs a calm intro. She could care less about the cat, but will try to engage him in play occasionally if he is down with her siblings. She will lay down in her crate when you put her in it with little protest, but at night especially she wants the safety and security of her humans.You can apply to meet Rosy at ricopetrecovery.org. Adoption fee is $350 and includes first two sets of vaccines, spay and microchip. Owner will cover 3rd and 4th set of vaccines.

This fuzzy wuzzy little puppy is Stella! Isnt she gorgeous. Stella is a very smart girl. She has mastered sit with and without treats and does know down just not consistently yet. She loves to go for walks and does a great job on a leash. She does well in her crate, but also does well being out at night. Shes doing a good job going outside to go potty, and will resort to using a pee pad if she absolutely has to. Stella loves a good snuggle, but like her sister, also loves to play tug, or chew a good squeaky toy. She is good with kids, other dogs (she LOVES her dachshund foster sibling), and she also likes the cat and is learning not to chase him. She is an 8 week old lab/heeler mix. This guy is Lucky. Lucky is a toy hoarder and he LOVES to curl up in the dog bed. He will take some snuggles now and again when hes asking for them and he loves to lay on his back. Lucky does well in his crate and will sleep over night in one until about 6:30 am. Then he would like his breakfast and to fall back asleep. He likes to go for walks and does pretty good on a leash. This boy loves to be outside. He would love nothing more than to be out rolling around in the grass or chasing a ball. He is an observer, and hangs out in our back window to watch the backyard. Lucky is good with kids and other dogs. He does chase the cat, but he just wants to play so he is learning.You can apply to adopt at ricopetrecovery.org. Silky soft, snuggly, and eager to please all the people he meets. Oakley is willing to trust new people, show his belly, give kisses. Knows 'sit,' 'lie down,' and getting acquainted with 'stay,' 'leave it,' and 'get down. Very interested in other dogs, but willing to be instructed to 'leave it' and carry on walking when we passed yards or houses with barking dogs. Fairly good on a leash. Very energetic, will be a good companion for someone athletic. But also Willing to hang out quietly while I you work on the computer or watched TV; even willing to ignore the nearby cats most of time. Curious about them but not wanting to interact with them. Before considering him as a pet do research on the breed. He is a herding dog and will try to steer you where he thinks you need to go. This will include nipping at your heels and hands if they are by your side. He will be good with older kids that understand his behavior.
