Story
TEDDY 4YRS 30LBS MALE AUS CATTLE DOG LISA 2YR 20 LBS FEMALE MIX MUST HAVE ACD/HERDING BREED EXPERIENCE BONDED PAIR-Ever wanted a dog for you and a dog for your sig other but were afraid of clashing personalities? Well, not here because these two love each other, a LOT, so at least you know they get along perfectly and there is one for each of you. 2x the love!!!!!!!!!!!!! (And man, are they CUTE!) They travel often in the car with me for over an hour at a time - they do ride crated. Load up easy and ride quietly- unless we go through a drive through then Lisa has opinions about what she wants too. She likes to play ball, but not as intense as Teddy and will just let him get it and go find something else to do. They play and wrestle with each other and other dogs. Not overly rough but will get on ground with each other. They love to run laps in the yard chasing each other. They leave my uninterested dogs alone, as there is always someone else to play with. Lisa did not get along with my 1 male foster - just a little 10 pounder . Not sure who to started the war, but I did not leave them loose with each other * no actual fight/injury/contact ever occured. There was alot of noise 1 time, and they would grumble at each other when passing by each other's crates/run at work. Teddy is pretty easy going but doesn't like to be corrected. He will get bossy -verbal and pin someone who tries to But a sharp HEY from me and he will stop and walk away * never has been a fight or injury. Loves to play fetch and the other dogs do not challenge him to get the ball away from him. He would definitely destroy a stuffed toy if given the chance. They both love to chew on antlers/ nylabones/Benebone etc Teddy is a super cuddler and happy to hang on the couch or bed. Lisa loves attention too but takes a bit more to settle down at first. Both settle quickly and Quietly in a crate. They are both jumpers and when seeking attention. They have gotten better, but would need to be reminded of their manners going forward. We do not require a fenced BUT they would need a secure area to be able to run in and burn off energy weekly. Crate trained and housebroken   This animal is up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been heartworm tested (negative) and on prevention.  The adoption fee is $400.00 for the pair. SAMJAMM MALE 10 MONTHS OLD PARTIALLY BLIND Sam was given away to a neighbor by his original owner because they were moving at the end of the week. He has picked up on the routine very quickly and know where his crate is and the doors to go outside. He gets along with the other dogs and lives to run and play with them. MEDICAL: up to date on Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella and Lymes; Full blood panel looks great; on heartworm and flea/tick prevention PERSONALITY: Are you ready for a spunky, loveable lifetime companion? If so, check out Emma and look no further! Emma is a young Cattle Dog mix (about 1 ½ - 2 years) and weighs about 22 pounds. She gets along with other dogs and loves people—a lot!. True to her breed, Emma loves to play and explore and would do well with someone who will spend lots of time with her and keep her well exercised. Emma came to us in the end of January as a stray from Cleveland. She was very pregnant and gave birth two weeks later to five beautiful puppies! Emma was a GREAT mom, but now it’s time for her to finally get to be the center of someone’s attention as she LOVES people and would gladly cuddle with you on the couch as much as should would go for a nice long walk! Emma is spayed, housebroken and crate trained. If you are interested please contact info.gratefulpaws@gmail.com or fill out an application at https://www.gratefulpawsrescue.com/adopt.html

Story
Kipper is a very sweet and loving Australian Cattle dog (Heeler)/Beagle mix. His personality is almost all Heeler. He is high energy and likes to exercise/play. As far as he's concerned, fetching his ball is his job and he takes it very seriously. He would do well in a home with older kids or no kids, with owners who are well-acquainted with Heeler behavior and training. He doesn't like to be alone for long and once he finds 'his person' he is loyal as can be. We've had him since July 2024 and we're looking to find him a new home now because my two youngest kids are just too young for him and we overwhelm him. Also, I unfortunately don't have the time or knowledge to give him the training he so desperately longs for. He needs a lot of space to run once he is trained, and would do well if he was given an actual job on a farm, or somewhere like it. He can be quite territorial in our own yard so we aren't sure how he would do in a home with other dogs. Let me know if he's right for you.

Story
Autumn and her momma Audrey were recently reunited after being adopted out separately from a rural pound. This has been amazing, since they are VERY bonded! Neither was thriving without the other. Our vet's best guess is that Audrey is a cattle dog mix and Autumn looks to maybe have some pug in her! Audrey loves being with and playing with Autumn, but Audrey also enjoys her alone time and LOVES LOVES LOVES to snuggle on the couch (or elsewhere) with her people. She and Autumn are perfect riders on car rides, not anxious at all. They are great with cats, and have shown no signs of food aggregation nor toy aggregation. They are honestly the perfect combination. They love to be around, play and snuggle with you, but if you are busy, they will occupy their time with each other! It's truly a "win win" having them together! These girls would do well with a fenced in area, or running area would be ideal for them so they can romp together when they get the zoomies, or just lay out in the sunshine, enjoying the day. Audrey is a little on the timid side, so a home without small children would be best, as they may intimidate her. Fill out an application at www.maggiesmissionrescue.org

Story
In Olmsted Township - Hey everyone! Let us introduce you to Mr. Max R. Roni. Max is an almost 7 year old Australian Shepherd. He’s had a sad past, losing his home, his mom and dad and now looking for a forever home to accept him as he is. It’s time for Max to find his furever home and thrive. Max came to ASF grossly overweight. He has been with his foster for several months trying to get some of his weight off and to help him be happy again. He’s lost a lot of weight already and is feeling much better. Max is a gentle old soul. When in the house, he’s pretty chill… he’ll find his spot and most of the time he’ll hang there alone. He will bring you his tennis ball (his FAVORITE toy) and wants you to toss it once he gives it to you. Max really loves butt rubs and being petted. He gets super excited to go outside and play ball or chase or catch a rolled Frisbee. When it’s time to quit, he just finds a spot to lay down. Max gets nervous on car rides and isn’t a fan. He’s very content staying at home. Walks are okay; he’s a bigger boy so he does pull some. Max is great left in the house all day: no accidents, no destruction. He does like the couch and would prefer to share your bed. Max has an issue with resource guarding toys… all toys belong to Max. Thus, a home with a submissive female or as an only dog would be best. His submissive 2 year old female foster sister Aussie plays chase with him but will drop any toy she has when Max comes near. He wasn’t nice the first time, so she just lets him have any toy. (The male Aussie in the house did not back down and this didn’t go well at all.) Due to his resource guarding, a home with small children would not be advised nor any dominant dog. Max is a sweet boy who just needs to find the right home. Someone to pet him on the couch, toss the ball for him once in while, take him out in the yard while you work or enjoy sitting and watching the day pass. Max is neutered, microchipped, UTD on vaccines, housebroken, crate trained, and on HW/flea prevention. He is currently being fostered in Olmsted Township, OH. There is an additional $20 fee to transfer his microchip to his new owners. All adoption fees go to help rescue other dogs like Max.
