Story
**Meet Lillian – Your New Adventure Buddy!** Lillian is an energetic, playful, and spirited girl who is looking for an active and loving home to call her own. With her herding breed background, Lillian has a natural instinct to stay on her toes and keep busy, so she’s looking for a family or individual who can provide her with plenty of mental and physical stimulation. If you love outdoor adventures, hiking, running, or agility training, Lillian will be your perfect companion! At her core, Lillian is intelligent, quick to learn, and eager to please. She thrives in an environment where she can be mentally challenged, and she’d love to find someone who is excited about training her. Whether it's learning new commands, working on obedience, or even teaching her fun tricks, Lillian will be up for the challenge! She’s always ready to show off her smarts, and with the right guidance, she’ll quickly become a well-behaved and loyal partner. Because of her herding instincts and high energy, Lillian would do best in a home with active individuals or families who can keep up with her. She loves having a job to do, whether it's fetching, agility, or just being part of your daily routine. She has a lot of love and enthusiasm to share, and in return, she’ll make sure your life is filled with fun and excitement. Lillian does best with dogs who have respectful play styles and are tolerant of her energy. She’s not a fan of rough play and prefers companions who understand her boundaries. Due to her breed and energy, she is best suited for a home without small children, as her herding instincts may lead her to nip or herd in play. If you’re looking for a fun, bouncy, and loving dog who’s ready to make every day an adventure, Lillian could be your perfect match. She promises to keep you on your toes, make you laugh, and offer endless love and companionship. Ready to embark on the journey of a lifetime? Come meet Lillian today!

Story
Pips is a young and healthy Cattle Dog / Border Collie mix, 50 lbs weight, with blue heeler coloring. When I rescued him in February of 2023, the vet estimated him at 2 years old, making him 3-4 years old now. He was already neutered when I adopted him, and I have kept him up to date on all his vaccines. He takes one capsule of anxiety medication every morning. He's a sweetheart with all kinds of people, extremely eager to please, loves cuddles and head-butts, and very food motivated for easy training. He has typical high energy for the breed and loves to run. He was skittish and dog-aggressive initially, but has calmed down significantly with dedicated training. He is now mostly only reactive when leash walking, but his high energy and playful nature can sometimes frighten smaller or older dogs. I'd love for him to find a permanent home with lots of yard space or a farm to run around, or an active owner that wants to include him in frequent outdoor activities.

Story
Winnie is a very sweet adult dog, estimated to be 5 years old. She was found as as tray. Winnie unfortunately is significantly overweight. Since dogs can't call Door Dash, it is much easier for them to lose a few pounds. A few extra walks and little less food, switch to giving carrots or green beans as treats and she will be looking slim and svelte very soon. Winnie is a very happy and friendly girl. She is looking for a person or family who can help her lose weight slowly and safely. She can be a bit mouthy when taking her much loved treats, so a family without young children in the home may be a better fit. Winnie is up to date on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm disease and her adoption fee includes a voucher for the mandatory spay and microchip.

Story
Introducing Maggie, a beautiful terrier mix looking for her forever home. Although she is estimated to be only slightly over a year old this sweet girl is full of joy. She loves to play, get lots of attention and is always happy. She does have quite a bit of energy so an active family and/ or a fenced in yard is preferred. She does well with other dogs, particularly energetic ones looking for a playmate, but needs to be in a home without cats as they can be a little too tempting to harass. She is currently strong on leash but our foster is working on her training, the world has so much to offer she gets super excited. She is housebroken and crate trained and ready for a loving family to call her own! If a shorter stature bundle of fun is what you are looking for in a dog, look no further!
