Story
Introducing Maggie, a beautiful terrier mix looking for her forever home. Although she is estimated to be only slightly over a year old this sweet girl is full of joy. She loves to play, get lots of attention and is always happy. She does have quite a bit of energy so an active family and/ or a fenced in yard is preferred. She does well with other dogs, particularly energetic ones looking for a playmate, but needs to be in a home without cats as they can be a little too tempting to harass. She is currently strong on leash but our foster is working on her training, the world has so much to offer she gets super excited. She is housebroken and crate trained and ready for a loving family to call her own! If a shorter stature bundle of fun is what you are looking for in a dog, look no further! Story
Coco is the sweet, shy brother of Jose. While he’s a bit more reserved at first, he quickly warms up and loves nothing more than hugs and cuddles. This lovable teenager has been close to his brother since they were both surrendered as pups, so he might do well in a home with another dog companion. Coco is energetic, full of spunk, and gets along well with both cats and dogs at the shelter, as well as people. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who will thrive with a little patience, Coco could be the perfect fit for you. Come meet him today!

Story
“ Since day 1 Jose has been a great addition to our crew! He starts out a bit shy but get down on his level and within seconds you’re getting all the puppy licks you could want and you’ll have a new best friend. After the first day he has become my new shadow. And takes every opportunity to snuggle up as close as he can. Jose is spunky and energetic and always waiting to please but would benefit from an active owner and /or home with a fenced in yard because this little dude can play for hours. He is incredibly smart and we have been working on simple commands such as ‘sit’, ‘stay,’ and ‘come’ as well as basic leash training and crate training; he has been sleeping in the crate at night and goes in the crate every time we leave the house without a problem. He appears to have some house training as he has only had 1 accident in the past week that we have had him and it was right when we brought him home. His favorite toys so far are squeaker balls and ropes! He gets along with every pup he meets and has even won over the heart of our grumpy old-soul family dog. Come meet Jose and fall in love with him just how our family has!”

Story
Pips is a young and healthy Cattle Dog / Border Collie mix, 50 lbs weight, with blue heeler coloring. When I rescued him in February of 2023, the vet estimated him at 2 years old, making him 3-4 years old now. He was already neutered when I adopted him, and I have kept him up to date on all his vaccines. He takes one capsule of anxiety medication every morning. He's a sweetheart with all kinds of people, extremely eager to please, loves cuddles and head-butts, and very food motivated for easy training. He has typical high energy for the breed and loves to run. He was skittish and dog-aggressive initially, but has calmed down significantly with dedicated training. He is now mostly only reactive when leash walking, but his high energy and playful nature can sometimes frighten smaller or older dogs. I'd love for him to find a permanent home with lots of yard space or a farm to run around, or an active owner that wants to include him in frequent outdoor activities.
