Story
River was abandoned in the national forest after we had a major ice/snow storm - myself along with animal control went out to try to get him and he was so terrified - after several hours I was able to gain his trust and he jumped into my car. River is a typical heeler - super super smart, loyal but the typical heeler attitude. This boy knows many commands, sit, stay, lay down, roll over, wait - he will not even eat until you tell him he can. His most favorite thing in the whole world to do is to play ball and he will play for hours and hours. He will need an adopter that has had "heeler" experience as they honestly are a breed of their own. But if you have experience with them - you also know how amazing they are. He would make an excellent hiking partner. Absolutely NO cats - and while he does well with dogs his size that are submissive - he would not mind being the only dog and this dog is going to be loyal to you without a doubt. He is estimated to be 4 years old and weighs 70 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, current on heartworm prevention, microchipped and is a very well trained dog. If River seems like the perfect dog for you, please go to our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org and fill out one of our adoption applications - that is the first step in our process. We also require references and a home visit. His adoption fee is $250.00

Piper is 5 months old. Her blue heeler spots are starting to show so good! She is still being house trained. She is very sweet and loves attention. Belly rubs are her favorite. Due to my work and school schedule I am not able to give her the attention she needs. She is very outgoing with a lot of energy. She will come with a crate, toys, collar, 2 leashes, 2 big bags of food, treats, and her food and water bowl.

Story
Shiloh is a great dog. She would be perfect on a large plot of land with a family. She is high energy and explorative. She is a fast learner, food motivated and has many commands. Her release word from a stay or her asking for something is "Free". Shiloh was found with 5 siblings in a parking lot on a hot day in Raleigh a year and a half ago. Now she loves winter, and playing in water on hot days. She is great candidate for buttons, as she has learned to hold or offer affirmative barks on the word of the thing she wants. Housebroken, loving, emotionally aware, crate trained. I am just looking for a family that can provide her the attention, space and activity she needs to be fulfilled.

Hello there, my name is Sugar, and I am a sweet and gentle female Blue Merle Australian Cattle Dog. I am 9 years young and have proudly given birth to beautiful pups 10 months ago. But now, it`s my turn to find a loving forever home.As my name suggests, I am as sweet as sugar and my calm demeanor will melt your heart. I love nothing more than laying on a comfy bed and being a constant companion to my humans. I am house trained and would make the perfect addition to your family. My appearance is adorable, and my fluffy fur makes me quite the cuddle buddy. I may not be a puppy anymore, but I am still quite beautiful, if I do say so myself. My activity level is chill, and I am a laid back, relaxed girl. I am always happy to be by your side, making memories as your best friend and loyal lover. My golden years may be approaching, but I am still full of love and affection. I am easygoing and devoted to my humans, always ready for a good cuddle session. I am the perfect fit for someone looking for a true-blue sweetheart of a good girl.I believe I would be happiest in a home with a loving and patient owner who will shower me with attention and affection. So, if you are ready to add a loving companion to your family, please come meet me. I promise to be your faithful and loving companion for the rest of my days. Hurry, sugar never stays on the shelf for long!
