Story
Rex was rehomed and we took him in temporarily until we found him a home. He is house trained , he does well with dogs , he has tried biting our cats so I wouldn’t recommend him to a home with cats. He loves fetch and playing outside. He knows commands (sit, down, spin, cage) and does well with our toddler. He is pretty vocal and would do best in a semi active to active lifestyle as he loves running. We did not get him from his original owner so I don’t have all the answers about him unfortunately but he is an Australian cattle dog, and about 4 years old.

Alice is a 3-5 year old blue heeler cattle dog mix, she weighs about 31 pounds Alice was surrender by her owner at shelter.  Alice is heartworm positive which the rescue is treating. She loves all people and kids.  Alice would be best as a only dog, and due to her breed no cats. She is housetrained, leash trained, and crate trained. Alice is a super sweet very active girl who loves car rides and to give kisses. This dog is available and everything we know about this dog is included in the dog's description. We are only able to respond to questions once a completed application is received https://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. We do not respond to questions about our dogs sent through email or social media. Excellent vet references and a virtual home visit required. Your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We transport by land or air whenever possible. He loves shaking around stuffed animals or chewing away at puppy chew. He is very vocal when he gets excited, but calm when faced with something new. He is very curious and loves to sniff every corner of every room. He is very sweet and gentle (unless its wrestle time with a dog buddy.) He is extremely smart, loves to run, and catches on quickly. His foster mom says he's learned how to SIT, LAY and SHAKE already! He is also almost fully housetrained. Metro loves giving kisses and meeting new dogs and people. Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Wade, NC Meet Theo! He is an handsome 6 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 55 lbs. He is neutered, but isn’t up to date on shots or on heartworm prevention. Theo is nervous around strangers, but warms up after a while! He is good with older children, farm animals, and dogs! No younger children, due to his reactivity! He hasn’t been tested around cats. Kennels and confined spaces scare Theo. However, he is great when left alone to hang out in the house! He is a medium energy Aussie with an off-switch. His owner said that he can be protective and bark while on walks whenever they pass strangers or other dogs. He settles down once they are no longer near them! Theo also loves to cuddle and knows several commands! The owner is surrendering him because they are expecting a baby and Theo doesn’t do well with younger children. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Theo, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions.
