Story
Extremely good dog, unfortunately my new landlord will not let me keep him. He loves to play and cuddle. He is super sweet, loving and smart. He loves chewing on bones and going on walks. He is very gentle and super friendly, never had aggression towards anyone or any dog he is always excited when he sees new people or dogs. He is the best dog and I am hoping he will find a forever companion!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Sid is a fun guy with big ears and lots of personality. He is very treat motivated and a quick learner. He loves to cuddle and be with his person.  This handsome canine friend has a leash aggression trait, which means that he thrives best in a home where he can be the sole dog. Sid's ideal environment includes a fenced yard, allowing him the space to explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors in a secure setting. In his foster home, Sid has shown great compatibility with other dogs. However, it's important to note that when meeting new canine friends while on a leash, Sid might take a bit of time to warm up. Patience is the key with Sid, as he transitions from cautious to comfortable when introduced to other dogs in a controlled manner. Sid's journey has shaped him into a loyal and loving companion, and his unique needs add a layer of charm to his personality. While he may need some time to build trust with other dogs, the rewards of having Sid as part of your family are immeasurable. To apply for adoption visit: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 12, 2024, 11:52 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hi there! I’m Kit, a 4-year-old Husky-Shepherd mix with a zest for life and a brain that just won’t quit. Think of me as the canine version of a multitasking CEO: I’m friendly, loyal, and way too smart to sit around doing nothing. Seriously, I need a job. Herding? Guarding? Personal trainer? You name it, I’m your dog. A little about my past: I was adopted as a puppy, but my first family had a “lifestyle change.” (No hard feelings, humans, but what’s the deal with that?) Anyway, I’m back on the job market and ready to bring my A-game to a forever home. I’m not really into the whole “small kids running wild” scene—it’s nothing personal, but let’s just say I like my space respected. I’m super friendly, though! Whether it’s other dogs or humans who know how to give a good belly rub, I’m all in. My loyalty? Unmatched. My intelligence? Let’s just say I could probably figure out how to set up a Zoom meeting if I had opposable thumbs. So, if you’re looking for a dog who’s not just a pet but a full-on partner in crime, let’s talk. Bonus points if you have something productive for me to do, because I’m not about that couch-potato life. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Meet Millie! Millie is about 3 years old and 50 pounds. Millie and her 11 puppies made their way to North Carolina from Louisiana in search of their forever homes. Millie is a happy-go-lucky gal! Millie LOVES to play outside with the other dogs in her foster home, and she loves a good stuffed animal to play with (she has yet to destuff her stuffies too!)! Although Millie is a young and active girl, she also loves a good couch nap - but she will never turn down the opportunity to run and play. For the most part, Millie is quiet at home, but she is vocal when wrestling with her canine friends and she enjoys narrating the situation when meeting new people! Millie loves to play with both dogs & cats - she does not discriminate when it comes to making friends! Millie is an affectionate girl, who soaks up any attention from any species, but she is great at entertaining herself when everyone else is busy. Millie would do best with a fenced in yard to run and play in. Millie also enjoys pancaking her body underneath any gaps in fences, so if you have a fenced-in yard please be aware of any trouble spots that may need to be addressed before allowing her to go out alone. Millie walks nicely on a leash but is quite reactive and will bark when she sees people and animals. Other than these issues, Millie has been a wonderful foster pup. She does not try to bolt out of opened doors, she is fully potty trained, she shares toys, and is genuinely just happy to be wherever you are. Millie has not shown any destructive behaviors indoors & she doesn't make a peep when crated.Millie is just as content to stay home and be your couch potato, watch dog, and best friend! Millie is in great health, is spayed & up to date on her vaccinations   You can apply here to adopt Millie: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/animals/detail?AnimalID=20446879 Millie’s foster also owns runs a dog boarding business and has sponsored Millie’s boarding fees for life *located in Winston Salem & dependent on availability  For daily updates on Millies' stay at her foster home, you can check out her foster family's Instagram @bernie.dallas.gizmoVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 22, 2025, 11:48 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application ›   Woof! Hey there, I'm Brailey, the wonder-mutt! They say I'm a mix of who-knows-what, a true canine mystery. I'm around 5 years young, and let me tell you, life's been a fetchin' good time! I'm all about spreading the love—I'm as sweet as a pupper can be, and my tail wags like crazy when I see people. Belly rubs? Yes, please! I live for 'em. And let's talk about my talents: I'm a fetch fanatic, a swing enthusiast (yes, swings are for dogs too!), and a professional leash walker. Two miles? Easy peasy. Walking with me is like a stroll through a park of endless scents and wonders. Now, here's the scoop: I've got a touch of anxiety sometimes, but don't worry, I've got meds for those moments when I need 'em. Cages? Nope, not my thing—I prefer to roam free and spread my doggy joy wherever I go. And speaking of homes, my dream family? Someone who's around a lot, because I thrive on companionship and love to share every tail-wagging moment with my pack. So, if you're looking for a furry friend who's part comedian, part cuddlebug, and all heart, look no further. Let's make some memories together, one belly rub and fetch game at a time! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 3, 2025, 6:31 pm
