Story
Sweet Willow had a rough start in life, but is ready to find her forever home and have her happily ever after! She came to us afraid of human touch and has since blossomed in her foster home and loves being around her foster family. She bonded quickly with her best fur buddy, Hallie and now they are inseparable! They love hanging out, running in the yard and taking naps together. Willow is crate and potty-trained and is just the best little girl! She can't wait to meet her forever family and make new, wonderful memories with them! She would do best with another dog to play with and learn from.

Story
If a dog is man's best friend, and diamonds are a girl's best friend, then a dog named Diamond must be everyone's best friend, right? Right! Diamond is a 2(ish) year old gem who is on the smaller side at just over 20 pounds. She's never met a stranger, and everyone she meets falls in love with her as well! She's naturally happy, gentle natured, and even tempered. Diamond is as sweet as they come, and she loves affection in any form - a head pat, a belly rub, some sweet talkin, or all of the above will get her tail wagging and make her so happy. She is eager to please and loves to be praised. This pretty girl is a great size and such a fun companion! She is full of energy and zest for life. She loves to zoomie around the yard, chasing after toys and running around with them in her mouth. Once she's had a proper outlet for her energy, she enjoys a quiet nap on the couch snuggled up next to her person. Diamond will do anything for a yummy treat and is a very smart girl, so she's easy to train and learns new things quickly. She's doing great with house and crate training and learning how to walk on a leash. As an added bonus, she's an excellent passenger in the car. In her foster home, Diamond lives with dogs of all sizes and energy levels and does a wonderful job respecting the boundaries of the little dog but loves to wrestle and play with the big dogs. She also lives with a cat and is curious but respectful. Diamond has been around small children and was very sweet and gentle with them. This perfectly sized, beautiful girl is ready to be part of a family. If you are interested in Diamond, click Apply for Adoption! Story
Meet Ursa!  Ursa is a spunky girl with tons of personality.  She loves car rides more than anything else in the world, so if you're looking for a travel companion, she's your girl!  She also loves hiking, socializing, and playing with her friends.  She's great with other dogs but loves her humans most of all.  She would do best in a home without small children because her love for them is sometimes overwhelming.  Ursa settles down well in her crate when it's time to go to sleep at night and is SO happy to see you in the morning when it's time to get up -- and the happiest tail in the world will let you know that!  Ursa's number one goal in life is to find a family that just wants her to hang out with them.  She's an expert sous chef, assistant laundry-folder, and dishwashing supervisor.  As long as she can hang with you, she doesn't care what the activity is!  If you're looking for a buddy to keep you company, Ursa is the perfect pup!   Apply to meet her at pipsrescue.org/adopt ##1667875##

Story
This little dynamo is at least a year old, and she is whirling dervish in the play yard, running zoomies, leaping in the air to catch a ball or toy, and then running some more. Abigail will do best in a very active home where she can get plenty of activity and exercise to keep her busy. She still has puppy in her and needs to learn that it`s not acceptable to jump on people or be mouthy. A little effort and training can correct these puppy behaviors quickly. Abigail wants so much to be part of a loving home where she can learn how to be the 100% best girl ever! She simply needs someone who will give her that chance. Is it YOU??Dog Day Out notes, 6/21/24:We walked the longest portion of the Cates Farm Trail in Mebane, got a Pup Cup from Starbucks, and hung out in the AC at home. She walks well on leash and is high energy. Abigail did great walking on the trail and loved playing in the stream. She was a little reactive to see another dog on the trail but I just held the leash tight and close to her and she was fine. When playing with toys, she wants to chew/ nibble other things and can be hard to redirect; I had to take her outside to calm her down. She will sit if you say “Down” and do the hand motion for down.Volunteer notes, 5/29/24:Abigail is a nice, friendly, energetic girl who is working on her leash manners. She knows “sit” and understands that it’s required for her to get a treat (which she loves!). She does well with consistent, positive reinforcement—she needs a patient human who will match her puppy stubbornness with equal determination and plenty of rewards! She is an extremely pretty girl with lovely muted spots and arresting eyes. I thought she did really well for a first meeting.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Sid is a fun guy with big ears and lots of personality. He is very treat motivated and a quick learner. He loves to cuddle and be with his person.  This handsome canine friend has a leash aggression trait, which means that he thrives best in a home where he can be the sole dog. Sid's ideal environment includes a fenced yard, allowing him the space to explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors in a secure setting. In his foster home, Sid has shown great compatibility with other dogs. However, it's important to note that when meeting new canine friends while on a leash, Sid might take a bit of time to warm up. Patience is the key with Sid, as he transitions from cautious to comfortable when introduced to other dogs in a controlled manner. Sid's journey has shaped him into a loyal and loving companion, and his unique needs add a layer of charm to his personality. While he may need some time to build trust with other dogs, the rewards of having Sid as part of your family are immeasurable. To apply for adoption visit: https://www.pawfectmatch.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 7, 2024, 12:42 pm

Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Chapel Hill, NC Meet Ziggy! He is an 3 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 45 lbs. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Ziggy is nervous around strangers! He is good with kids, cats, and dogs! Ziggy bit a service man who entered their garage while no one was home. He is very protective of his owners when strangers come onto their property, but his owner says he can be redirected. The owner is surrendering him because they travel a lot and are unable to give Ziggy the attention he needs. He needs to go by 9/15! If you think you can provide a great home for Ziggy, please contact the owner listed below. There is an $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Ziggy. Owner’s Contact Information: Luz Maria at luzbarbeito@me.com.
