I grew up with a lifetime of love from my person, but they're no longer with me, and now I’m hoping to find a new family to share my golden years with. I really love car and truck rides, especially with a breeze in my fur and maybe a pup cup along the way. After our drive, a hike is perfect! From the foothills to the Bosque and the park, I love exploring. When I’m not out and about, I enjoy playing with sticks or lounging inside. I know stay, heel, and lay down, and I’m housetrained (though I may need a little time adjusting in a new home). I’m social and gentle with everyone, including kids, and I get along well with other dogs. (Cats, though, are just too tempting to chase.) I thrive on attention and love a good nap afterward. She loves to lay in the grass and soak up the sunshine, take slow walks with plenty of time to sniff and explore, play with toys, hang out with her human friends, and is food motivated (there’s no treat left behind with this girl!) Josie knows "sit" and "down" and would love to learn more if treats are involved! If you are looking for a sweet dog that brings you both humor and cuddles, Armadillo might just be your guy! He loves to play and might do well with another dog as a playmate!
