Story
Meet Mac: Your Future Fall Hiking and Snuggle Buddy! As the leaves change and the air turns crisp, Mac is ready to be your adventure companion this fall! This handsome two-year-old cattle dog/ Shepherd mix is a little nervous at first but warms up quickly to become the ultimate snuggle buddy. Mac has a high energy level and loves to explore, making him the perfect partner for long walks and hiking adventures. While he thrives on activity, Mac has a strong prey drive, so he’s not suited for homes with cats, chickens, or other small animals. He enjoys turning recall into a playful game of `keep away,` more like `stay away` staying just out of reach and inviting you to chase after him. Due to his tendency to roam, a secure, fenced yard is essential for keeping him safe and happy.Mac knows basic commands, and with time and patience, he has great potential to be a pawsome fit in your home! He can be a bit anxious around new people and situations, so he would do best with an experienced owner who understands high-energy, high-drive dogs. He’s gentle on the leash and generally gets along with other dogs, though proper introductions are key since he’s had some challenges in the past.He loves to chew on elk antler chews and play with his favorite baseball glove, adding even more fun to his playtime! Mac does need some extra care during vet visits and nail trims, as a gentle sedation may be necessary to keep him calm. He’s great with older kids (12+) and will thrive in an active home that can provide him with the exercise and mental stimulation he craves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will bring joy to your fall adventures and share warm moments together, Mac is ready to find his forever home. Don’t miss out on the chance to create incredible memories with this loving boy!Could you be the perfect match for Mac?

She can be fearful when dogs in her playgroup chase her but when she is around dogs her size and smaller she turns into a pup and plays, jumps over the dogs, she is so cute to watch! Like all heelers she is velcro. She wants to be near, touching and just being adorable. She is house trained, she is easy to walk and she is well behaved."

Story
Meet me Bandit! My name is from Paw Patrol, but I will steal your heart. I'm super easy going, love other dogs, good with cats, and great with kids of all ages too. My leash skills are pretty good for a puppy and rarely have an accident, so I'm pretty much potty trained. I love to cuddle and play with toys. Treats are a favorite of mine. If you are interested in my please complete the application. I am located in San Antonio, TX, but my adoption fee includes transport. I come fully vetted to age, fixed, microchipped and will get a health certificate before I travel if adopted out of state

She is wagging her tail and wiggling her butt at just the thought of finding her forever home and her story is just beginning. Her next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2059392##
