Story
A21806 Draco is a brindle colored, approximately 4-year-old, 43-pound, neutered male, Heeler / Pitbull mix. He entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 09-12-2024 due to the fact the owner was homeless. Draco is a friendly, timid boy here at the shelter. Our staff says he is shy in the kennel, but once out and alone with him he loves attention, and he is easy to handle. He has had some training and will "sit upon command. He has no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. He was easy to leash but pulls in excitement during our walks. The previous owner says he is housebroken and has lived with other dogs, cats and children. Draco will be a loving companion in his new forever home.

Story
Boba is a high energy dog that thrives in social settings both with humans & dogs. I have had her since she was 3 weeks old and she does not have a malicious bone in her body. However, she can be territorial with her people, toys, and food. She needs attentive parents that can be patient, consistent, & dedicate time daily to getting her energy out. Another dog is also ideal. She thrives with a routine. She likes to bond through play and work so if you can get that down, she will be your best friend, as she has been mine these past few years. Message me for more details or with any questions. I’d love to check in on her or receive updates occasionally & prefer a home that’s comfortable with during the transition or if her health becomes a concern, as rehoming wasn’t my first choice. I want to ensure I am sending her into a safe & loving home

(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Story
Henry was adopted from us in 2018 and is not adapting well to the new human baby in his family. The cries and large change in the household have made him anxious and his family has made the difficult decision to find him a home better suited to his needs where he can enjoy his senior years. Henry is house trained and walks well on a leash. He gets along well with the cats that he currently lives with as well as the other 2 dogs. He can be possessive of his toys with other dogs so a home where he doesn't have to share - or a home with a dog who doesn't care about toys is his best match. Henry has enjoyed lots of adventures with his family, from hiking and lake trips to simply snuggling under the covers while watching a move; he is happy to adapt his energy to whatever you are doing! He is 10-11 years old and weighs approximately 55 lbs. We have adoption appointments throughout the week! Turn in an adoption interest form at https://waggingtailsrescue.org/dog-adoption/ to learn more about this dog and schedule a meet and greet! Additionally, we have an adoption event every Saturday from 11-1pm at Petco (645 S Green Valley Parkway) where you can come and visit our adoptable dogs. We hope to hear from you soon! Please send in an application at www.waggingtailsrescue.org

Story
Ollie was adopted from us as a puppy but recently came back after being uncomfortable around the young grandchild in the home. He is a smart, loyal companion who loved to join his mom on adventures; he's a pro hiker, camper and lake swimmer! Ollie's favorite toy is a ball and he likes to play with dogs in his size range and smaller, the bigger dogs intimidate him. Ollie is house trained, crate trained and knows his basic obedience. He is the ideal dog for someone who is looking for a trained companion. Ollie is 13 months old and weighs approximately 48 lbs. We have adoption appointments throughout the week!
