Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Riley. This 9 month old neutered male dog is a total sweetheart. He looks to be some kind of cattle dog mix - maybe Idaho Shag? He has one blue and one brown eye. He is a bit shy when meeting new people but very friendly. Good with other dogs and good with cats. In true herding dog fashion he is very fond of his human. He is working on crate and potty training in his foster home and doing splendidly at both. If you would like to meet Riley please complete an application on our website. This boy has been bounced around for his short life and we want to make sure he finds a stable loving forever home.  LSAR.rescuegroups.org  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 28, 2024, 1:42 pm

Story
We got Blue from my husband friend’s grandparents in middle of Nov since they can’t take care of Blue anymore. Sadly after 1.5 months we still can't get Blue to get along with our cat and dog so sadly we have to look for another forever home for him. Blue is a super sweet boy, he loves people and loves to cuddle. Other than he doesn't get along with other pets, he is a great dog! He has lots of energy so we are hoping his new family also very active ❤️

Story
HI - I'M PENNY! I'm a sweet and shy 1-year-old-old Australian Cattle Dog mix, in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from a California shelter on my last day and now am safe! The experience was a scary one for me, but I'm finally now coming out of my shell. I will make a great companion for an active single person, a couple or a family with older kids. I weigh only 45-50 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
Introducing Freckles! Much like his name he is a very spotted dog with black and grey dots on a white background. He is very much a Blue Heeler mix (perhaps with a touch of Labrador as his ears are a little bigger and all black). A little over 1 year old, this boy is just ready for adventures and perhaps some herding jobs if you have them. He does have some energy to burn so a fenced area to run in would be fantastic for this boy. He is friendly and so far has done ok with other dogs. We have not yet cat tested him yet but will work on doing so. Freckles is up to date on vaccinations, has been neutered and micro-chipped. He is ready for his new family and being part of all their adventures. Better pics are in the works too but at least you can see his delightful face in this photo! Freckles is currently 46 pounds. To apply for Freckles, please head on over to our website pet-tracs.com and fill out an adoption application (link is toward the top of the homepage) and an adoption specialist will be in contact via text to confirm receipt and to advise next steps. Freckles adoption is $150.

Story
Willie is an Australian Cattle Dog with possibly some Collie mixed in. He is only approximately 1 year old but with a background of boys teasing and tormenting him, Willie has decided that males aren't such a good thing right now. He has been very sweet with our female staff, and has made some progress with males, but at this point, we recommend he have a female owner. We're not sure about kids as the boys were teenagers and teasing him in any way would not be pleasant for Willie. He has been around other dogs at the shelter and does not even bark at them. We have not tested with cats yet. But regardless, this sweet handsome guy deserves a home where he can have some activity and lots of love without feeling threatened. A high fenced yard would be best for his size and age, he is about 35 pounds and a bit of a jumper, neutered and vaccinations are up to date. Please consider him if your home is a female home with understanding ladies who can help him learn to like boys again. His adoption fee is donation of choice to the right situation.
