My sister had given her to me. Her birthday is April 20, 2024. She loves treats. She knows commands. For a new home, she needs more space like a backyard or people with more energy and aren’t allergic. She’s looking for someone with patience and belly rubs are her favorite. She’ll be a medium size dog full grown. Housebroken.

Pixel is a bubbly 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix. She`s on the smaller side, weighing around 36lbs, but she has a large and fun personality. She LOVES playing fetch and will play until you can`t play anymore! She`s an energetic girl that would love an active family, and a backyard is only a bonus for her. Come throw a ball for her, and you`ll become best friends in no time! Once she`s done playing, she`ll cuddle with you all night long. Pixel prefers no cats or kids in her future household. She would do best with dogs her size or larger and will need to meet them before going home with you. This sweet gal is ready for a forever family!

Story
Are you trying to master this whole being an adult thing? Me too! Hi there, I`m Bandit! I`m a young and friendly guy with a goofy side that`ll make you chuckle. I`ve got energy to spare and love to play. I enjoy tug of war, chase, and being sprayed with the water hose. My favorite thing? Making friends, both the two-legged and four-legged variety. I get along great with adults, older kids, and other dogs! At only 1 year old, I`m gaining knowledge on how to be an adult dog. So far, I`ve mastered the command `sit` and house-training is going pretty well. I`m still learning the ropes when it comes to leash manners, but I`m getting better every day. I`m just so eager to explore the world around me! I`m a sweet boy with an adventurous and energetic personality, and I`m searching for someone that matches my spark. If that sounds like what you`re looking for in a companion, look no further. I`m Bandit, an American Blue Heeler mix, and I`m ready to steal your heart!

Story
Hi there! I'm BiBo, a 1 year old Heeler mix with tons of love to share! I'm a sweet and happy girl that was found wandering, but luckily someone swooped in and offered to help me out! I'm living with a foster now and he says I am a good girl. I've got a great little personality and would love to be someone's furever friend. I do good with other dogs and love to play. If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment. Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2130401##

Story
We're a gourd-geous litter of Australian Cattle Dog/Heeler mixes. We were found dumped on the side of the road. Luckily, PCHS got us all cleaned up and now we're on the roll to find our own loving homes. Carve out some fun this fall and adopt one of us because we are the pick of the pumpkin patch! Story
Hi there! I'm Acorns, a friendly face with so much love to give. I was found dumped on the side of the road with my 8 other siblings. Thankfully PCHS got us all cleaned up and ready to start fresh. I'm a smart girl and will do anything for a treat so training me should be easy as pie! I've already got the hang of "sit" and I'm sure I can learn more once I get a home.  If you're interested in adopting me, fill out an adoption application online at www.polkcountyhumanesociety.org/adopt where you will also find a link to reserve me for an appointment.
