Story
I got Sadie from a shelter. They told me she was about 1.5 years old. She is very active and full of energy. She loves to play fetch, tug of war with her rope. very smart and so far has been easy to train, she sits on command ,shakes hands/paw, ive trained her to sit and wait while I get her food and water and wait till I say ok to eat. she loves attention . she does use her crate /kennel. I usually say "go to bed" and she knows to go into her kennel. 90% of the time I give her a treat when she goes in there. She loves people, but does like to jump up on them. trying to work on that now. I am allergic to her hair and by the evening time I am miserable . I want to find her a good home, she is great with kids. And gets along with other dogs in the neighborhood. My daughter and granddaughter are very allergic to her and makes visits with them a little difficult. Sadie is not happy with vacuum cleaners, she is either outside or in her kennel when I vacuum.

MILO IS A COURTESY LISTING FOR ONE OF OUR PARTNER RESCUES. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN MEETING MILO, PLEASE FILL OUT OUR ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION AT kcpaws.org AND WE WILL FOWARD YOUR APPLICATION TO THE RESCUE. link to application: https://form.jotform.com/230296113596155 Milo is about 30 pounds, up to date on vaccinations, and neutered. Hey there, my name is Milo! I’ve been at the shelter for a while now, but before I came here I was living in a homeless camp. My rescuer found me in a bad situation and brought me to my PAWS family. I am an energetic guy, and I love to run and wrestle with my canine friends. I play in doggy daycare every day! My motto is: Play hard, Nap hard. I can be shy when first meeting people, but once I get to know you I’m sure I’ll love you! I love to snuggle and I appreciate a nice, warm blanket.  I’ve only been in a house a couple times in my life, so I’ll need to learn the ropes, but I am a quick learner and I promise I’ll make you proud! If you are interested in learning more about me, apply to meet me today! October 28, 2024, 6:52 pm

If you're looking for a delightful addition to your family who will fill your days with joy and laughter, Tito is the one! His infectious spirit and loving nature will make every moment together a treasure. Tito's adoption fee is $100, which includes his vaccines, neutering, microchip, and heartworm prevention. Approx DOB: 7/4/22    Approx weight: 40pds Adoption Fee $175 includes a 2 week trial. NO CATS.... she has a strong prey drive so probably no small animals that size or smaller to be safe Della is a super smart dog and really wants to please her people. Della is well behaved in the home and knows good house manners. It seems day by day her personality is coming out and we can tell she just wants her own family.   She is housebroken and crate trained.  We are working on leash training and she is doing better day by day on our walks.  Della does great with dogs medium size but seems to want to dominate some dogs that are larger then her.  We are still working with her on learning how to be friends with those sizes. She loves toys especially balls.    Della has been spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting me, please complete the adoption application located at www.furrykidsrefuge.org/adoptadog and a dedicated volunteer will get back to you as soon as possible. Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient.  You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m.  Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.  Would you like to foster a Furry Kid? Furry Kids' Refuge will supply the food & vet care while you supply the basic house rules & love.......win-win for all!!  Just visit our website http://www.furrykidsrefuge.org/category/fostering/  for more information. Thanks for your support!
