Story
Are you ready to meet the cutest little bundle of joy? Say hello to FB, the 4-month-old puppy who's stealing hearts everywhere! FB was adopted locally and found himself at a kill shelter. For Pet's Sake Rescue went and got him out of jail and he is now back with us. He was not loved to the capacity that we expected. He is still quite a puppy learning basic training but he is a love bug waiting for the right home that will keep him forever this time.  FB is not just any puppy; he’s a social butterfly! His outgoing nature makes him incredibly friendly and easy to get along with, whether it’s humans, cats or other dogs. It’s no surprise that he’s a favorite among everyone who meets him. Here are some personality traits that make FB truly special: Playful: FB is always up for a game of fetch or a playful romp in the yard. His energy is contagious, and he can turn a dull afternoon into a fun-filled adventure. Curious Explorer: FB loves to investigate his surroundings. Whether it’s sniffing out new scents or exploring every nook and cranny of the house, his inquisitive nature keeps him engaged and active. Social: This little pup thrives on social interactions. He enjoys meeting new friends and is always excited to say hello to anyone who crosses his path.   PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT:   Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. ***ALL ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY IN MISSISSIPPI.*** We transport adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to Northeast states.  ***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not breed or DNA test.*** Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel. Each pet is spayed/neutered, receives age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, heartworm tested (6 months of age and older) microchipped and has current flea/tick/heartworm prevention.  You can visit our website at www.forpetssakerescue.org for our full adoption process and adoption application. Story
Hello, I'm Nemo. I'm a bit on the shy side, but once I get to know you, I promise to be your best friend. I'm sweet as sugar, and I love to snuggle. Quiet times with you would be my favorite. We could sit together, maybe watch a movie, or just enjoy each other's company. I'm not a fan of loud noises, but I promise to be brave for you. I'm looking for a forever home where I can feel safe and loved. I promise to return that love tenfold. If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and cuddly companion, I'm your girl.

Story
NEWBIE ALERT! Meet Kavi! This sweet girl is being pulled from a rural overcrowded shelter with her one surviving baby! Kavi is a cattle dog mix. She’s around 2 years old and 40 lbs. She’s a super sweet girl. She gets along with others and just wants to be loved. She’s been the best momma but that time is coming to an end and her baby is being weaned. She will be adoption ready once cleared for spay. She is utd and hw tested. We will update her info once settled in!  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy!  Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications!
