Hello! My dogs name is Nala! She is 4yrs old and truly the sweetest most affectionate dog who we have always loved but she is very high energy and very very protective with her family. She is never bit anyone but she gets very sketchy around new people and having 4 kids and having my house full of my teenage kids friends it’s been so difficult to deal with her anxiety with having to put her in a room while the teenagers are here and it makes me feel so bad for her! She deserves so much better than that! She doesn’t like little kids and my oldest daughter is pregnant so I just can’t keep her😭 she’s great with the cat and truly is such a good girl, she would be perfect with someone with no kids or older ones❤️ she listens so beautifully at commands, potty trained and I just want her to have the best life for her!

Sugar Bear is a sweet 6-7 year old mixed breed dog (we don't know any of her breeds!). Since she has tall ears, we are thinking possibly Cattle Dog mix? She weighs around 35 lbs so she is the perfect medium size dog - not too big and not too small! Sugar Bear's family was evicted from their home and they put poor Sugar Bear out on the streets. Luckily, a neighbor witnessed this and contacted the local animal shelter. Sugar Bear is now searching for her forever home. Sugar can be a little shy when she meets a new person but once they pet her, she warms up very quickly! Since she can be a little shy, we would recommend a quieter home and one without small children. Sugar enjoys car rides, cuddling and always being with her person, going for walks and naps! Her favorite hobby is chasing squirrels so for that reason, she may not be good with cats or very small animals. She is in a foster home with another dog and does fine with her. Their original family got them as a gift for a 10-year-old who wasn't at all interested. They are 6-7 years old and until they came into rescue, they never even had names! Despite being ignored and shouted at, they are sweet boys, and they have great dog manners. They are calm, loving, and so grateful for any love and attention. They adore their new toys and were ecstatic when a friend came by with kids. They are housebroken, great with both big and small dogs and have ignored the cats completely.
