Story
Meet KC! KC has been looking for a very dog experienced family who will help continue his training in the home. He is playful and super smart boy who loves nothing more than playing fetch and learning new tricks! KC can be nervous around new people and new experiences, but give him some time and watch as you grow into his favorite thing in the world. KC will need a home without children under 12, dogs, or cats. He will also do best with meeting every family member before going home with you. While KC needs a special kind of home with lots of special care, the love he gives is well worth the work! If you are looking for a dog to give a new outlook on life to, KC may be the pooch for you!

Story
Hello! My name is Maggie, an adorable puppy looking for a forever home! Few can resist a puppy. These cute, soft bundles of energy are, in many ways, like four-legged toddlers with tails. And, like children, puppies need a lot of time, care, love and understanding. They will depend on you for frequent and regular feedings and walks, for guidance and training, for a lot of your time and your love. If you are willing to devote the time needed for a puppy, you will gain an amazing companion!

Story
Hazel needs immediate rehoming I cannot care for her any longer. She's a sweetheart once you get to know her but she's not good with children and she's food aggressive and has anxiety. If she's not rehomed the shelters can't take her I will unfortunately have to euthanize because I'm afraid she will seriously hurt my kids

Story
Meet Harrison, the cutest bundle of energy you'll ever meet! 🐶 This 9-month-old, 40 lb. cattle dog mix is ready to turn his rough start into a happy, playful life with YOU! 💕 Harrison spent most of his young life in a small crate with a shock collar, but now he’s making up for lost time with a love for ALL toys, bones, puzzles, and especially fetch! 🎾 He’s always up for a walk and will even ask to go on one! 🚶‍♂️ Harrison adores playing with other dogs 🐕, but he’d thrive best with a sibling that can match his lively spirit. He’s already house-trained, knows basic commands, and even some tricks! 🏅 Being super food-motivated and smart, he learns incredibly fast. 🍖 He's a champ in his crate and, while he's still got a bit of puppy mouthing, he's easily redirected to a toy or bone. 🦴 With his working dog energy, Harrison is the perfect playful companion to keep you entertained and on your toes! 🐾 Are you ready to give this clever, fun-loving pup the forever home he deserves? 🏡

She enjoys running, playing, and learning - she is very smart! Because she is a cattle dog, it will be important for her new family to understand herding breeds and their needs which includes daily mental stimulation. Preferences for Roxanne's new family: Experience with herding breeds Commitment to regular exercise and stimulation  Understanding of breed-specific behaviors and needs An understanding of how to care for a dog with some separation anxiety No young children Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. March 10, 2025, 4:26 pm
