Story
Loufee is a striking Australian Cattle Dog–Collie mix who combines intelligence, gentleness, and charm in one wonderful package. At approximately one and a half years old, he’s at the perfect age—past the puppy chaos but still young, curious, and ready to learn. Loufee has a calm, sweet nature and truly enjoys being close to his people, soaking up affection whenever it’s offered. This talented young gentleman already has a great foundation of training. He proudly knows sit, down, and both paws, and he loves showing off his skills, especially when praised. His eagerness to learn makes training a rewarding experience, and with continued positive reinforcement, Loufee has the potential to excel even further. Mental stimulation is essential for him, and activities like training games, puzzle toys, and structured routines will help keep his sharp mind engaged. As a mix of two intelligent working breeds, Loufee thrives when he has a purpose and guidance. He would do best in a home that understands the needs of herding breeds and is prepared to provide consistency, enrichment, and leadership. For this reason, Loufee is highly recommended for adopters who have prior experience with Australian Cattle Dogs, Collies, or similar breeds, ensuring he’s set up for long-term success.Despite his working-dog roots, Loufee is a gentle soul who balances his energy with affection and attentiveness. He bonds deeply with his people and is happiest when included as part of the family. With the right environment, continued training, and plenty of love, Loufee will grow into an incredibly loyal and devoted companion. If you’re an experienced dog owner looking for a smart, affectionate, and trainable young dog, Loufee could be the perfect addition to your home.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $200

Story
Meet Fiona - a 3-year-old, 45lb Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix who is as smart and athletic as she is loyal. Fiona's story hasn't been easy. She came from a home marked by domestic violence and was facing euthanasia for resource guarding. In a foster home with little handling experience, her guarding continued. But since coming to 12:10 K9 Rescues behavior modification program through Unleashed Freedom K9 Academy, she has made incredible progress. With clear leadership and structure, she has shown us her true potential. What Fiona Brings to the Table: -Work Drive for Days - She LOVES her ball, will launch into the air to catch it, and never seems to tire. -Athletic & Fast - Think Ferrari with fur. This girl was built to move. -Intelligent & Trainable - Picks up shaping quickly, eager to learn, and thrives when given a job. -Food & Toy Motivated - Ideal traits for training and working homes. -Dog Social - Gets along well with balanced dogs, especially those who can keep up with her energy. -Spayed, UTD on vaccinations, healthy, and ready for her next chapter. Fiona needs a confident, experienced handler-someone who can give her structure, channel her drive, and put her intelligence to work. In the wrong home, she's at risk. But in the right home, this girl will be a superstar. If you're interested in giving Fiona the job and home she deserves-or know someone who might be-please reach out and share her story. Let's get this incredible girl the chance she's been waiting for. We're located at 12:10 K9 Rescue, but we are willing to travel or even arrange flights for the perfect placement. Story
Ever wonder if it is even possible for show stopping beauty, an amazing brain, AND a five-star winning personality to come in the same package?! Lucky for you — they do for this sweet girl! Juniper is a treasure of a dog, waiting for her forever home. Just look at those beautiful, bright amber eyes and freckled nose. Juniper is a gorgeous girl and a perfect medium size. She always upbeat and carries a smile on her face. Besides her looks, Juniper is also a very smart, trainable girl. The sky is the limit for her. She’s eager to learn. She’s also pretty athletic so she would be a great running companion. Or maybe you’ve always wanted to try dog sports like agility. Juniper would be perfect! And best of all, Juniper has a very sweet disposition with every person she meets. She craves attention from her people and will be a loyal companion for years to come! She would be perfectly content being an only dog or possibly one other canine companion that suits her fancy. She's doggy selective, and would need a little time to warm up to a new BFF once they know she's in charge of the playtime antics. Juniper is a year or two old, 40-45 lb.

Story
Meet Roxanne! This sweet cattle dog mix is such a cuddle bug! At just four months old, she is already keeping her indoor area clean and goes outside to potty. Roxanne does well with other dogs and cats and loves attention. At this time, she is not a fan of being crated but does well outside of her crate. Roxanne’s current foster says she is absolutely precious and she could just hold her all day long. If this sounds like the pup for you, please complete an application at https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Transports leave every week alternating between the NE and the Great Lakes. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. Story
Welcome, I'm Eve, a wonderful female dog who's new to PAR! I'm a high-energy girl who loves to keep busy, but I also know how to relax and entertain myself with a good toy or bone. One of my favorite things is being close to my people and soaking up all the love and attention. I'm also a social butterfly when it comes to other dogs; I get so excited to interact and play with them! I'm still learning how to be the best doggie playmate, but I'm a quick study and can't wait to show you all my skills. Eve is scheduled for her spay surgery on January 9th. At that time we will have a better estimate of age (we estimate 2-3 currently). She currently weighs 46 lbs. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will keep you on your toes and fill your heart with joy, come and meet me! I promise to bring a smile to your face and be the best furry friend you could ask for. To get preapproved for adoption, please fill out our application for a meet and greet! https://www.parpets.org/adoption-application.html
