He LOVES playing outside in the pool or chasing around the sprinkler stream and also enjoys long hikes through the woods. Buddy is a very active boy who would do best with a yard to run or a lake to swim in. Are you ready for a companion to keep you on your toes? - 1 year 11 months - 57lbs fully grown - Needs a training plan - Good with dogs/cats/farm animals - Good with kids 16+ - Adoption fee: $175 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. If you have questions or want to possibly schedule an appointment on one of our closed days, you may email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.

This dog found its way to our house a few months ago, we’ve been trying to find her a good home since, because we currently have chickens outside and a cat inside that she wouldn’t get along with. I would love to find a home for her with someone who either has another small dog or no other pets, before the winter gets too harsh. She is super sweet and she loves to snuggle, and has spent lots of time with another small dog we have. We have had to keep her in an enclosure or in a specific room of the house most of the time we’ve had her as she has tried to run away or go after our chickens.

Hello! My dogs name is Nala! She is 4yrs old and truly the sweetest most affectionate dog who we have always loved but she is very high energy and very very protective with her family. She is never bit anyone but she gets very sketchy around new people and having 4 kids and having my house full of my teenage kids friends it’s been so difficult to deal with her anxiety with having to put her in a room while the teenagers are here and it makes me feel so bad for her! She deserves so much better than that! She doesn’t like little kids and my oldest daughter is pregnant so I just can’t keep her😭 she’s great with the cat and truly is such a good girl, she would be perfect with someone with no kids or older ones❤️ she listens so beautifully at commands, potty trained and I just want her to have the best life for her!
