These two sweet boys are looking for a very specific home. THEY WILL NOT BE RE HOMED TOGETHER! THEY WILL GO ONLY TO A HOME WITH DOG EXPERIENCE. The reason being is that these were an oops breeding of two very powerful breeds. Tom (black ears and patches) is very much like his mama Cattle Dog. Independent and smart! Hank is like his daddy Bernese. Very large, loyal and confident. These dogs are too young to finish all of their shots and to be neutered. They will be going with a refundable deposit for the adopter to do at their expense. Buddy is an absolute gem who is eager to please his person! He loves learning new tricks and having his brain worked, whether it's a 15-minute training session or a puzzle toy he has to figure out himself and trust me he will! He LOVES playing outside in the pool or chasing around the sprinkler stream and also enjoys long hikes through the woods. Buddy is a very active boy who would do best with a yard to run or a lake to swim in. Are you ready for a companion to keep you on your toes? - 1 year 11 months - 57lbs fully grown - Needs a training plan - Good with dogs/cats/farm animals - Good with kids 16+ - Adoption fee: $175 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. Meet Sartorius, affectionately known as Torri! He is a 6-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix who has been a beloved member of our family since he was 12 weeks old. Torri is up to date on all his medical care, vaccines, and is neutered. Torri is a high-energy dog who thrives in an active environment. He loves playing frisbee and going on hikes, and he will happily cuddle up after a day of fun. While Torri is friendly and loving, he can become anxious in unpredictable situations and does not do well with children or larger dogs. However, he loves smaller dogs and would do well in a home where he is either the only dog or has companions that are smaller than him. We are rehoming Torri because we are planning to start a family, and we believe he would be happiest with an owner who can provide him with the active lifestyle he craves and a stable environment. Cabbage is up to date on all shots and still needs to be spayed. Cabbage needs to be the only dog in the home as she has resource guarding tendencies. Cabbage still has some accidents overnight and needs to go out every couple of hours during the day. She is good at going to the door and letting you know when she needs to potty and knows how to use a dog door if that is an option. She has some separation anxiety and would be a good fit for someone who works from home or lives with multiple people so she doesn’t have to be left alone too often.
