Meet Gwen! Gwen came to us as a stray and sadly was never reclaimed and she is now searching for a new forever home! Gwen is a Australian cattle dog mix that is 7 years old and weighs about 65 pounds. Gwen is a sweet older gal, that is pretty laid back. Gwen would love a nice quiet home. Gwen is house broken and will need a home without small children. Gwen will also need a home without cats. Gwen is good with the other dogs. We do require a dog intro with any future k-9 siblings to make sure everyone gets along! Gwen is up to date on her vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, heartworm tested negative, microchipped & spayed! Meet Aspen! Aspen came to us as a stray and sadly nobody came for her so she is now searching for a new forever home! Aspen is a Heeler that is about 2 years old and weighs about 35 pounds. Aspen is a very sweet and playful. Aspen is mostly housebroken as long as she is on a good routine. Aspen is good with kids but will need a home without cats. Aspen is good with the other dogs. We do require a dog intro with any future k-9 to make sure everyone gets along. Aspen is up to date on her vaccinations, dewormed, flea treated, heartworm tested negative, microchipped & spayed! Whisper is a 35 pound, 6 year old Cattle Dog Mix with gorgeous markings and the very best smile !! This sweet soul had a rough start to her life, and so she can take a moment to warm up to new people and situations. She is flourishing in her foster home, and she is learning how to dog. It’s precious. She gives the most endearing kisses and hugs; and she has the most adorable slow tail wag when she’s happy. We adore her. Whisper is doing a fantastic job with her house training; she eats and sleeps in her crate but doesn’t like to be left in it alone, but she does great when left out. She does very well with other dogs. She would prefer a home without very small children. Whisper is spayed and up to date on shots. Her adoption fee is $250. I was rescued by Beagle Freedom Project after being found as a stray in a rural area with my siblings. All of my brothers and sisters have been adopted... I'm not sure why I haven't found an adopter yet; I really am the most affectionate girl! And I promise to be an amazing companion for my forever family. I'm one of the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet-- I adore people and other dogs, alike! I have lots of puppy energy, so I also love to romp and play. Story
Foster location: Eagle, Michigan Meet Axel! Axel is a super handsome 1.5 year old Cattle Dog mix that is looking for his forever home. He is a very social boy who loves playing with his foster siblings and running with them in the yard, going for walks and meeting new people and then cuddling up on the couch at night with his foster mom. Axel has been attending doggy daycare and loves it! Axel is house and crate trained and walks good on a leash. He is great about chewing on his toys and bones and not getting into things he shouldn’t. Axel would enjoy an active home with another young dog to play with, he has really bonded with his foster siblings and enjoys running and playing with them. Kids make Axel nervous so he is looking for a home without children. Axel is a very sweet and smart boy and catches onto new things quickly, he is young and ready to learn! In order to set him up for success we would recommend his family enroll him in a positive reinforcement training class upon adoption. Axel’s adoption fee is $300, he is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped, dewormed, and current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. This dog found its way to our house a few months ago, we’ve been trying to find her a good home since, because we currently have chickens outside and a cat inside that she wouldn’t get along with. I would love to find a home for her with someone who either has another small dog or no other pets, before the winter gets too harsh. She is super sweet and she loves to snuggle, and has spent lots of time with another small dog we have. We have had to keep her in an enclosure or in a specific room of the house most of the time we’ve had her as she has tried to run away or go after our chickens.
