That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Bumper is a 2.5-year-old Australian Shepherd mix with some curious puppy still in him. He loves his family and his routine. His favorite activity is to play fetch. When the weather is nice, he’ll bring you a tennis ball to go outside and throw around with him. He’ll bring you the ball and drop it right at your feet. Bumper is a very cute, very sweet, little guy who loves to please. His favorite treats are Greenies. He also likes Bully Sticks as a special treat every once in a while. He is crated trained and good on leash. Bumper would like to be an only pet in the home, giving all his love to his person. Bumper has a tendency to want to fight with other dogs that are shy and/or timid. He is also very strong with a typical breed herding instinct, so children in the new home should be at least 13 years old, unless the family is very experienced with understanding the breed. Josie was rescued in the fall of 2020. We don’t know anything about her life prior to us other than she had been adopted a few times before and returned to the rescue for her behavior. She is a total love bug with people and has never shown any aggression or resource guarding with humans, including none with children of any age. She loves to snuggle on the couch with people. She does have extremely high prey drive & will chase to try & kill small animals such as cats, bunnies, squirrels, etc. but is trained off leash using an electronic collar. She has gone through a lot of training for her dog reactivity & will whine when seeing other dogs but walks very nicely on a pinch collar. She has come a long way with her reactivity towards other dogs but cannot be trusted in close proximity with them, especially if they get in her face. She will resource guards bones, toys, and people for attention. She loves off leash hiking, but isn’t a fan of water! She truly is a lovebug with people.

Say Hey to Amber. She is a 5 year old spayed Cattle dog mix. Amber came to us with her four babies Amber became very sick due to heartworms and was unable to care for them. The babies were bottle fed so we could treat Amber as soon as possible because that was her best chance for her and them. Amber went through two rounds of treatment and lots of meds. She just tested negative so now is her time to find a family to care and love her really that’s all she wants. She is housebroken. Crate trained. Amber prefers a calm house. She would love to be the only one but would be okay with a mellow friend. She really just wants to please you. Come meet this special girl today!

It was 'Code Red' in the Rescue world, which means dogs are going to die, without help! A Trainer went to the Shelter and saved Saachi and her 2 sisters. She has them in a Prison Training Program now, getting ready for a new home. They have learned many skills already : House trained Crate trained Basic obedience Husbandry skills Grooming skills Blue Heelers are dogs renowned for their devotion to their family, their intelligence and boundless energy. Always watchful, these dogs show a devotion to duty and can be protective of their owners and possessions. So Saachi is off to a great start . She needs a home that understands her Breed and her energy. An active lifestyle with lots of interaction to keep her mind sharp and her need to 'work' fulfilled. Sage is just over a year. Birthday is 10/9/2023. I took him in from a breeder that was desperate to get rid of some of the pups. He was 8 months old when I got him. He was not exposed to much in life, so he was very nervous. I’ve gotten him out to parks, hiking, and just trying to get him around more people. He has come a long way, but still is nervous around strangers. He will warm up to them in his own time. He was up to date on shots when I got him. I believe he is due for a rabies vaccination. He is not food aggressive and gets along with all animals. Unfortunately I am no longer able to give him the time and care he needs. I used to be self employed and worked from home. I now am gone most of the day and he does not get to run like he needs. Overall, he is a great dog. Gets along with my son who is 5 just great! I am sad to see him go, but he deserves a home where he has more freedom.
