Story
Dodge is a toung, strikingly handsome Blue Heeler/Lab mix with a bright spirit to match his good looks. About one year old and weighing 43 pounds, this mostly black shiny boy has a beautiful gray-speckled chest that gives him a regal, eye-catching look. With longer legs and a slimmer build than a typical Heeler, he carries himself with confidence and athletic grace. Whatever breeds make up his DNA, one thing is certain — Dodge is sweet, playful, and incredibly smart.   Dodge’s story began in the countryside, where he arrived at a rental home alongside a female Heeler mix and their six puppies. When the family couldn’t keep dogs, a cattle dog rescue stepped in to save the puppies, the mama was rehomed, and Dodge found his way to Critter Cavalry Rescue so he could be fully vetted and matched with the perfect home. Still very much a puppy at heart, Dodge brings goofy charm, happy energy, and a love of life wherever he goes. A fenced yard and an active household will help him burn off his enthusiasm and enjoy the adventures he craves.   He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all ages and sizes, is respectful of cats, and would likely be a hit with kids who can keep up with his playful nature. Dodge is learning leash skills quickly and would make an excellent walking partner. He’s eager to learn, quick to please, and happiest when he’s close to his people, watching over them and soaking up attention. With continued training, Dodge is going to be an incredible lifelong companion. If you’re ready for a fun, smart, and loyal sidekick, email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and tell us your city and state. Transport is available from Tennessee to the northeastern states. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 6, 2026, 11:52 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Cheyenne Blue Heeler / Lab Mix | ~12 weeks old | ~18 lbs Cheyenne is a confident, intelligent, and affectionate young girl with a wonderful balance of loyalty and independence. She’s the kind of puppy who makes you smile every day — bright, capable, and full of personality. She is incredibly smart for her age and is already showing great house habits, keeping herself clean and picking up on routines quickly. Cheyenne enjoys being around people and seeks out affection, but she also has an independent streak that allows her to entertain herself when you’re busy — truly the best of both worlds. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, reads social cues well, and fits in easily with a group. Whether she’s playing, exploring, or relaxing nearby, she carries herself with calm confidence and curiosity. We believe Cheyenne is a Blue Heeler / Lab mix, a combination known for intelligence, loyalty, and adaptability. These dogs tend to form strong bonds with their people while also being capable, thoughtful companions. Cheyenne would do wonderfully in a home that appreciates a smart dog who enjoys connection, routine, and inclusion in daily life. She’s going to grow into a devoted, well-rounded companion — the kind of dog who is always nearby, always aware, and always part of the family. If Cheyenne sounds like the kind of dog you’ve been waiting for, we’d love to hear more about your home and lifestyle. Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. She’s not the kind of dog most people would call “fancy,” and she doesn’t need to be. Her beauty lives deeper — in her eyes, in her steady presence, and in the gentle joy that radiates from her heart. If you pause for just a moment and truly look at her, you’ll see it — the quiet grace of a soul that’s pure, loyal, and endlessly loving. Haumea stays right by your side, as if she’s always known that companionship is life’s greatest gift. Her heart is joy in its most honest form. She gives it freely and asks for nothing more than a place to belong. Whoever looks past the surface and chooses this beautiful girl will gain more than a dog — they’ll gain comfort, laughter, and a love so constant it will change their days forever. Adopting Haumea won’t just be a good decision. It will be the best one you ever make.   Please email us at diane@ulpr.org and request an application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 9, 2025, 1:23 am

Story
Meet Koda! Where are our Cattle Dog lovers at? Koda is incredibly smart and eager to please. He walks like a gentleman on a leash and knows his commands. He is house broken and loves car rides. True to his working breed, Koda needs an active home willing to keep his mind and body going. Although Koda gets along with other dogs, he would do best in a home without pets.
