Scout -PA Breed: Catahoula Leopard /ACD Mix Age: 7 months +/- Weight: 45 pds Medical: UTD on all vaccines, neutered, microchipped Cat Friendly: Unknown Dog Friendly: Yes Kid Friendly: 12+ Crate Trained: Yes House Trained: Yes Location: Pennsylvania Scout has a ton of potential! He has been just a bit more than a handful for his current home. He really loves food and is very possessive of it and therefore not very good with little children when they are around his kibble. He will need further training in this area. Otherwise, he loves people and is very willing to learn and please! If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered. Scout’s adoption donation is $300 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test, is on preventative, microchip and neuter depending on age at time of adoption. If the dog is too young for a spay/neuter, then they will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract and deposit. We do not have a physical shelter; all our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
