Story
Meet Koby! This sweet, loving boy came into our care right after he was born with his mama and all his siblings. He found a home for a while, but then was returned because they didn't have time for him. Koby is potty trained and loves to play with toys, especially fetch with his frisbee. He gets along with all people, including kids, and other dogs! One of his previous fosters even said he was good with cats, but it's been a while since he's seen one so he may need to be tried again. He doesn't get on furniture and is very well behaved - he comes when called, knows most commands, and doesn't run. His favorite snack is ice and he loves to ride in cars. He is also very good when getting his nails trimmed and has the softest fur. Koby is a Velcro dog who loves attention and will follow you everywhere. He would do best in a home with other dogs where his people would be home most of the time, he gets scared when left alone.

Story
Meet Giblet! Gibby is a slow, sweet older man who is undergoing heartworm treatment and would desperately love to find a foster or furever home. Giblet loves to snuggle and go for walks, but he does struggle with stairs since he is an old man. He would love a bed to sleep next to his people all night long! He prefers dogs like him that are older and won't get too up in his business. Please consider giving this older gentleman a home, he has been waiting so patiently!

Story
Faith is a lovable, energetic dog who just can’t get enough of people. She’s always wagging her tail, jumping around, and showering everyone with affection. Her excitement is contagious — she’ll leap up and down in sheer joy if she thinks you're going to give her any attention. But, as sweet as she is, there’s one little issue: she absolutely cannot be around cats. It's not that she’s aggressive, but there's just something about them that gets her overexcited. It’s like she can’t quite understand why they’re so chill when she's ready to play at full speed! She’s always trying to chase them down (even though she’s never caught one), which is probably for the best.

Story
When we got her, we didn't realize how much work she would be on top of a toddler. We love her, as does my daughter. But she needs room to run. She is very active and we are just too busy to be completely attentive to the needs she possesses right now. We also don't have a fence, so if would be great if she had some land. She still has accidents in the house sometimes but she is great with kids. We would love for her to go to a home that could give her more than we can. ♡

Story
We got him from KCPP about 4 months ago. He is about 1.5 years old. He needs somewhere with a yard and unfortunately we don’t have one for him. He also does not get along with my family dog and may be best as an only dog. Super trainable and smart, energetic, cuddly, and loyal.

Story
Do you want a loving dog that just aims to please? Look no further than Sonya. She listens well and knows basic commands. She is always trying to anticipate what you will do next and she really just wants to be the center of your world. Her only fault is she gets really nervous around children and sometimes men and will attempt to nip at them particularly if they are moving quickly and/or rough housing. Her favorite things include being wherever you are, sleeping on her pillow, and following you around wherever you go. She also enjoys nose games where she has to work to get treats. She does well in cars (just give her a pillow and she settles right down). She will come with any supplies your would like that I have. She may need a slow introduction to other dogs.

Story
Meet Loki! He may take some time to open up to new faces, but beneath his guarded exterior lies a loyal and protective companion. Initially reserved with strangers, Loki prefers to set the pace when it comes to forming new connections. However, once he establishes trust, he is a steadfast and protective presence for his people. In his previous home, Loki has proven himself to be a reliable companion in households with children. His protective instincts extend to those he cares about, making him a loyal guardian. Loki is not only house trained but also kennel trained, displaying a knack for adapting to routines. His resource guarding tendencies and protectiveness may manifest during mealtimes or when strangers enter his domain, requiring a watchful eye and understanding approach. He is also capable of jumping a 6ft fence, so his new family will need to take the proper measures to ensure that he doesn't escape. For Loki to thrive, he craves both mental and physical stimulation. He will require regular exercise and ample attention in his forever home. If you're prepared to invest time, understanding, and love into this enigmatic canine friend, Loki may just become the loyal and loving companion you've been searching for!

Story
Meet Theo! This silly boy is a hoot who will make any family happy. He is true to his collie breed and loves to play with his herding ball. He can be a bossy-pants boy but is very smart and trainable. Theo would love a home where he can get regular exercise and enrichment! He is incredibly sweet and good with other dogs and people, but as we said - he can be a sassy-pants so older kids might be better. Theo would love to find a family to love him furever!
