Everyone meet Cookiedough!!!! This cute little lady was found as a stray walking herself down the road, leash and all! We were SO sure that was a good indicator she had a family looking for her….. unfortunately we were wrong 🥺 Cookiedough is as cute as can be! She’s around 1-2 years old so she’s got LOTS of energy. She is current on her vaccines and heartworm negative! Good with other dogs! Unfortunately she is very VERY anxious and stressed out. Who wouldn’t be in a loud noisy kennel?! It takes her a little time to trust new people as well but after some time she turns into the sweetest little lady who will melt at your feet! It’s clear she got little to no socialization before coming to us. She would definitely benefit from some time to decompress in a home and learn to trust again! I am a 7 year old Aussie born in Utah. I was adopted as a puppy, trained, and have traveled around the US with my family . I love the outdoors and long hikes where I can be off leash. I am pretty great with recall, I know tricks and am house trained. I am an amazing companion dog for someone who has lots of land, or needs a working dog. I am smart, loyal, and protective. Unfortunately, I have had behavioral issues since I was a puppy. I am scared to be alone and will bite doors when they are closed in front of me. I am reactive, and have a few triggers, like the word “bye” and to physical objects, like plastic bags. My family thinks I have a hard time differentiating from non- threats and true threats. I’ve tried crate training, and other forms of positive reinforcement at home, but it hasn’t worked very well. My family are unable to get me the professional help I need right now and they want me to go to a good home who can help me get better!

Oreo is a smart, fun, and active dog. She can do 10 different tricks and loves to go on walks. We've had her since a puppy. She is now 13 years old and slowing down some. She is a mix between American Eskimo (Circus dogs) and a mini-Australian Shepherd, this makes her very smart and able to learn tricks and commands. Unfortunately we are moving and will not be able to take Oreo with us. Oreo needs a good home with no cats and no small children. She is part herding-dog, so she tries to "herd" cats and small children. :0) She loves and needs nice walks and is well leash trained. She enjoys hanging out with her owner/pack leader. She is not a lap dog at all. She prefers to lay on the floor nearby. She weighs 14lbs.Oreo is house-trained and stays in a small room when we are gone. She has never used a crate. She likes to bark at strangers, doorbells, knocks, etc. and is the best watch dog ever.She is very smart and can sit, shake hands, rollover, play dead, and even jump through a hoop.
