Story
Howdy! I'm Coyote and I'm a whole year old! I'm built for action and thrive on having a purpose! Staying busy with plenty of enrichment and activity is my ideal home! When it comes to my social scene, I'm a bit picky about my doggy pals, but I have lived with a small dog before! Outdoors is my happy place cause I love to smell all the flowers and go on adventures in the fresh air! I would do best in a home with kids over the age of 10 and a home without cats. I am a working breed and would do best in a home that can provide that type of environment for me. Story
Hi there! I'm Jupiter and I'm 3 years old! I am a fun, goofy boy that loves my people and walks more than anything! I walk well on a leash and know how to heel, but I need some help with my other tricks such as sit. I need to be in an adult only home, or in a home with older children that can respect my boundaries. Cats and I are not fit for each other, but I am open to meeting other dogs that are more my speed!Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Levi!Levi is an 1 1/2 year old neutered male Cattle Dog! Currently 28 lbs most likely will be closer to 40 lbs when fully grown. Levi is a very nervous boy. It takes a while for him to build up trust with a person. For the first 3 weeks I was unable to touch him but now he’s able to take cookies from my hand, allow me to pet him, and hang out on the couch with him! Now that’s he’s coming out of his shell he’s finally becoming a naughty baby puppy! I’ve been loving watching him steal shoes, throw toys in the air, and try to sneak snacks. Levi will do much better in a home with another dog. He likes to build relationships with other dogs which makes it easier for him to open up to people! He gets along with every dog he’s ever met! He’s your typical pushy baby Cattle Dog. He likes to push everyone’s buttons but is receptive to corrections from dogs and verbal redirecting from people! Once out of his shell he’s the sweetest boy. He likes to chase toys, play in the water, and wrestle with his friends! Levi had an injury to his rear left leg which has since healed but his hair is still growing back! Levi is searching for an active family who likes to go on walks, hike, and play in the yard! He does have a fence requirement as he has proven himself to be a fence jumper when scared. He will need to be supervised in the yard. He is looking for a patient family who will help him blossom. Levi was brought in with his litter from a backyard breeder in Western OH and is now being fostered in Plymouth, IN. Please contact cripecasey@gmail.com  if you have any questions about Levi.  You can complete an application to adopt Levi or any of the dogs on our website at www.comebyebcrescue.org  .    ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application. Toast is a year and 1 1/2 year old male, Red Australian Cattle dog, who is amazing with respectful children 5 and up and great with other animals including cats. He wants nothing more than to cuddle on the couch in your lap. Though no fault of his own, he has had a couple of bumps in his life journey, which has given him some anxiety which causes a lot of drooling and some car sickness which has gotten better the more places we go. He is house broken and crate trained, he does use our doggy door. He is working on putting on some weight after his last shelter stay.  Toast is being fostered in Walkerton, IN Please contact hannahvazquez2002@gmail.com  if you have any questions about Toast.  You can complete an application to adopt Toast or any of the dogs on our website at www.comebyebcrescue.org .     ***  The potential adoptor will get a refund on the Application Fee if it’s determined by the Foster Parent that it’s not a good match for the dog and the dog for them, if we do not process their application.
