Story
Everyone meet Cookiedough!!!! This cute little lady was found as a stray walking herself down the road, leash and all! We were SO sure that was a good indicator she had a family looking for her….. unfortunately we were wrong 🥺 Cookiedough is as cute as can be! She’s around 1-2 years old so she’s got LOTS of energy. She is current on her vaccines and heartworm negative! Good with other dogs! Unfortunately she is very VERY anxious and stressed out. Who wouldn’t be in a loud noisy kennel?! It takes her a little time to trust new people as well but after some time she turns into the sweetest little lady who will melt at your feet! It’s clear she got little to no socialization before coming to us. She would definitely benefit from some time to decompress in a home and learn to trust again! Please share so she can get out of the kennels! Clphadoption@gmail.com 708-754-2351

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact kayladarriaga@gmail.com for more information about this pet.  From silly upside-down snoozes to soulful puppy eyes, Leroy is the definition of a loyal, snuggly best friend. This 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog is playful, smart, and oh-so-loving—just waiting for his perfect person to share all the cuddles with.                            Fostered in Argos, IN | ~2 years old | Australian Cattle Dog | Housetrained Leroy is the total package—affectionate, fun, and incredibly loyal. He LOVES cuddling on the couch, snuggling into warm blankets fresh from the dryer, and rubbing his face on yours when he wants attention. Squeaky ball fanatic Completed obedience classes—smart and eager to please Great in the car and enjoys short walks Excellent house manners Showing wonderful improvement on leash around distractions, including other dogs Leroy would do best as the only dog in his home or could live with a submissive female dog. While he’s sweet and friendly with people (just ask his vet team!), he’s happiest and most relaxed when he doesn’t have to share his space with more dominant dogs. Leroy may display reactivity toward certain dogs and requires active management during such encounters, particularly in confined spaces such as elevators and hallways. Due to these tendencies, Leroy is not well-suited for apartment living.  Leroy would thrive in a calm, adult-only home -- perfect for a single person or a couple looking for a loyal, snuggly companion in a home where interactions with unfamiliar dogs can be minimized and managed appropriately.   Leroy is NOT SUITED FOR AN APARTMENT . If you’ve been waiting for that one special dog to be your best friend, Leroy is your guy!    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 9, 2026, 2:31 pm

Story
Patrick’s past may always be a bit of a mystery since he came to us as a stray, but one thing is certain — he deserves a bright future. ❤️Patrick has been with us since February, and we have spent months helping him learn that people can be kind and that life can be safe and fun. When he first arrived, he was so terrified of human touch that he would urinate if someone tried to pet him. Watching him slowly come out of his shell has been incredibly rewarding. He is still a timid boy, but the progress he has made is amazing. Patrick absolutely loves other dogs, and they help give him confidence and comfort, so a home with a confident canine companion is a must for him.At just under a year old and around 65 pounds, Patrick is still very much a baby learning how to navigate the world. He has completed all of his vetting and is finally ready to begin the search for the patient, loving home he deserves.Patrick needs a family willing to give him time, understanding, and lots of encouragement — and in return, you’ll get to watch an incredible transformation unfold. ❤️Visit www.teambarc.com for more information and our online application. Story
Liberty (Libby) is a 25 pound red-tri color mini-Australian shepherd. She is a pure breed, but I did not send in her AKC papers and register her. Libby was born May 27, 2024. She is a very sweet and high-energy little girl.Libby is a typical herding dog. High energy, happy, adventurous, and will herd any cats in your yard.Libby has had some issues with her sister and has to be separated. A new home would make both dogs happier. She did get along with the other dogs she has lived with. We did go through many methods recommended by trainers and experts with no luck. I absolutely hate giving up, but it’s not fair to either dog to have their time split as they have to be separated. She does have a special diet, but I will have a list of all the foods she can eat (it’s not a super-expensive diet). She is late on her shots this year. Her adoption fee is free in exchange for you getting her shots at your vetShe is a beautiful sweet baby and needs a home where someone else can love & spoil her.
