Story
Scarlett is THE CUTEST! From her curly, striped tail to her sweet, speckled face, this charming chick is simply scrumptious. This terrific 5 year old tail-wagger is spunky spirited, and full of playful energy. Scarlett will sit for snacks and is anxious to learn more. She’s currently in a foster home and loves playing with toys and taking walks. She can be a little bossy with other dogs and will need a dog friend that is ok with her taking the lead. She did well with cats, but will need a slow introduction. Scarlett will thrive with an active adopter and daily exercise. Her ideal home will include a physically fenced yard and an adopter with herding experience. She does have some anxiety and is currently on a daily medication. This medication will need to be continued in her new home. Scarlett needs an adult only home or one with older children. If you`re interested in meeting or adopting Scarlett, please complete an application at: inapl.org/adoption-application. Once it`s processed, a member of our team will be in touch with you to schedule a meet and greet appointment. Story
Hi, Name is Chip! I'm the type of dog that is gonna take time to get to know. I'm mostly scared and confused in being here. I'm not happy in my kennel so I do bark at you. You have to bribe me with hotdogs to get me to trust you. Once I get out on leash I'm fine but it still takes time for me to adjust. We don't know much about chip but to greet with other dogs is a must and to be tested around cats. I would say no to kids. Any additional information about me please ask the people in the office. To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.

Story
Hello Dolly.... This cute Cattledog mix is a hurricane Ida survivor. Yep, rode all the way from Louisiana. Dolly is timid and takes a bit to get to know but once you do she is very affectionate and loving. Sometimes overly loving as she thinks she may be a lap dog. Dolly will need a family who can keep working on her social skills. She is a herding dog and will "herd" kids so no little kids for her new home. Dolly is house trained as long as she gets to go out frequently. She gets along with most other dogs but does take a slow introduction. As you can suspect she is very scared of storms, gun shots and loud banging so she will need a place to hide to feel comfortable when they occur. To adopt go to www.libertyacresunited.com and submit an application.
