If there’s a rope toy nearby, it’s his. His favorite move? Grabbing it and giving it a good shake, shake, shake. He’s a proud member of the toy “shaker” club and takes that job very seriously.At a year old, Bogart is full of energy and loves having a job to do. Running, playing, bike rides, and anything active are right up his alley. True to his breed mix, he’s smart, busy, and happiest when both his body and brain are getting exercise.Bogart also tends to be what people call a “one-person dog.” Once he chooses his person, he bonds hard and becomes extremely loyal. Because of this, he’ll need an owner who understands the Heeler/Husky personality and is comfortable with a dog who may not want to be everyone’s best friend.For Bogart, that means:• No cats• No kids• Someone familiar with or willing to learn about working breedsHe enjoys playing with other energetic dogs who match his rough-and-tumble play style, but his strongest connection will always be with his person.And just to be clear — Bogart isn’t a dog we’re trying to rush out the door.
