Story
August is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. August was 8/9 weeks old last August making her currently around a year and a half old approximately. She’s been raised with other dogs and children , shows signs when walking of being protective when confronted with other animals outside the home but is submissive inside the home. Shows no signs of food aggression. Is highly intelligent but didn’t have time to teach manners though she’s very happy and eager and QUICK to learn. Highly intelligent. Motivated to work. Crate trained. Potty trained. Couldn’t receive enough affection if you tried. Very sweet and lovable. Up to date on vaccines and spayed, though I think we do vaccines mar/may ish so may be due before long. Bad habits , will consistently chew the crotch of any underwear or pants within reach. If you are interested in August, please call or text: 812-320-7036. ***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner directly***

Story
Introducing Pete! Although we are just getting to know Pete and his siblings; Delmar, Big Dan and Everett, we know Pete has lots of puppy energy and is a social guy who loves to eat, poop and play, which is accurate with his age. If you are looking for a guy with amazing puppy energy and sweetness, Pete is ready to bring lifelong love, happiness and enjoyment to your family and will grow up to be the most beautiful boy! Name: Pete Breed: Mixed Breed Sex: Male Age: DOB 8/25/24 Spayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced or can wait until post neuter for pickup Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date - all vaccinations required after adoption are the responsibility of the adopter. Heartworm: Too young (testing is done at 6 months of age) Housetrained: Too young Microchipped: Not yet Adoption Fee/Donation: $300 Important!! Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life. Do you have the time? Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter, heart worm test if applicable) microchip, worming and flea/tick/heart worm (if applicable) preventatives. Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
