Max is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care and Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian.Max can live in any home, from apartments to houses, but he would likely do better in a house with a yard. He is friendly to strangers, and he is good with cats. He is not good with dogs, however. I believe that he has successfully been fostered in a home with children before. Max has skin problems and requires Apoquel daily and a simple diet.If you would like to inquire into adopting this pet, PLEASE TEXT 574-329-2302***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner directly***

Story
Colt is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Colt is a cattle/bird dog. His herding instincts run deep. He currently lives in town with no outdoor space. He really needs a more rural setting. He loves playing fetch with a tennis ball/frisbee as well as playing keep away. He would be a great working dog. He currently lives with children and cats. He jumps/plays with the children as if they are one of him. He does bark/chase the cats--our cats are older and don't appreciate him. He hasn't had a lot of socialization outside of the home. If you are interested in Colt please contact: 361-772-0066. ***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner

Story
Cayde is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Cayde currently is in a townhouse setting. We feel he would be best suited with a house with a fenced in yard. He is very protective of his people. He currently lives with two adults, two children (9 and 1) and one cat. He loves his people and his cat. But his anxiety best suits one to two adults who are familiar with his breed or herding dogs. Does ok with one on one dog interaction for short periods. But does not like to be chased. If you are interested in Cayde please contact 812-344-7471. ***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner

Story
Introducing Dunn! Dunn is the epitome of sweetness and playfulness. As soon as he spots you, he’s running full bore to greet you with his excitement. Although his breed is unknown, he looks to be a mix of Heeler and Hound. Dunn has puppy energy and loves playing with his sibling, Brooks along with all other animals and humans. If you are looking for a guy with amazing puppy energy and sweetness, Dunn is ready to bring love, happiness and enjoyment to your family and will grow up to be the most beautiful boy! •Name: Dunn •Breed: Heeler/Hound X •Sex: Male •Age: 14ish weeks •Spayed/Neutered: Yes! •Vaccinations: Puppy vaccines will be up to date - all vaccinations required after adoption are the responsibility of the adopter. •Heartworm: Too young (testing is done at 6 months of age) •Housetrained: Getting there. •Microchipped: Not yet •Adoption Fee/Donation: $300 Important!! Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours at a time until he’s older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so important in this puppy’s life. Do you have the time? Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter, heart worm test if applicable) microchip, worming and flea/tick/heart worm (if applicable) preventatives. Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. We appreciate your understanding that your newly adopted dog will help others in need.
We'll also keep you updated on Brooks's adoption status with email updates.
