Story
Meet Coco – Your Future Adventure Partner! Coco is a 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) with brains, beauty, and boundless energy to match. True to his breed, Coco is smart, driven, and always ready for his next job or adventure. He’s looking for a savvy adopter, ideally someone familiar with Heelers, who understands how important structure, training, and mental enrichment are for a dog like him. Once Coco trusts you, his sweet and loyal side truly shines. He forms strong bonds with his people and is incredibly rewarding for someone willing to put in the time to build that relationship. With his striking good looks and expressive face, it’s hard not to fall for him. Coco would do best in a home without small children, and he may be happiest as the only dog, where he can soak up all the attention and guidance he deserves. He thrives when given clear expectations, consistent routines, and outlets for his energy - think training sessions, enrichment games, and active days. Coco is part of our Paws Forward Program, meaning his future adopter will have 3 free training sessions post adoption with Janette from Kind K9s to help set him up for success. If you’re experienced, active, and looking for a loyal companion who will challenge you in all the best ways, Coco might be your perfect match. Come meet him and see if you’re the person he’s been waiting for. 🐾 Can't adopt? Please share!

Story
Look at Zola's beautiful blue eyes! This sweet puppy is absolutely wonderful. At just 8 months old, she has had a bit of a rough start. Zola was adopted and returned months later in pretty rough shape. It appears she was greatly underfed and kept in a urine soaked kennel! We are so glad she was returned so she could get the love and treatment she deserves! Our wonderful fosters have gotten her up to an appropriate weight and have been working on puppy training and socializing. As you can see in her photos, Zola is doing beautifully! She gets along with other dogs, cats, and LOVES her humans. She has made significant progress with her housebreaking. This sweet young girl is as sweet as she is gorgeous! All she needs is a family of her own. If you are interested in adopting this pup, please fill out an application, using the link below. Please specify which dog you are interested in. Applications without a specific dog, or otherwise incomplete, will not be considered. Adoption fee is $425. Includes spay/neuter, current vaccines, and microchipping. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ITAV/Dog For more pictures and information on this pup, please visit our website at https://www.ittakesavillage.dog/adopt
