Story
Baby is a sweet little girl that is looking for her furever home! She is a bit of a tough case because let's face it, cattle dog breeds are protective and one owner type dogs. She is no exception! If you're looking for a small - medium size dog that will lay their life on the line if someone breaks in, this is the perfect dog!! She is small but fierce! Baby does not care for strangers and will dang sure let you know. Not a single person will even pull into your driveway without you knowing about it. She has been raised as an only dog and she prefers it that way. She doesn't mind cats though! She is the ultimate house dog! She wants to lay in your lap, be pet constantly and loves her squeaky toys! She is also very house broke and has great recall! She was in a home with teenage grandkids and she did fantastic with them, although she is still very protective of the family. Her adoption fee is $275 and this includes her spay, 1 year Rabies vaccine and a microchip. Please call 618-833-4915 to come meet her! Thank you! Are you interested in adopting this pet? Story
Meet Rutabaga! Often and lovingly referred to as “Bagel” by his fosters, this pup really is the whole package: smart, snuggly, sweet, and cute as can be.   He is fully crate-trained (no accidents overnight or while the family is out!), and like 98% house-trained. The last 2% in progress is rain-related, as peeing on soggy grass is simply not his favorite, ha! But a little encouragement goes a long way with this guy, and foster mom is confident he’ll get it down in no time. When it comes to new places/people/experiences, Rutabaga can be timid at first—he puts all of his trust in “his” people, so confident leadership & slow introductions are a must! Once he warms up, though, you can bet he will make himself right at home. He loves playing fetch, chasing crickets, and chomping on leaves & sticks in the yard. He’s never met a chew toy he didn’t bite, and he’ll lounge next to you for hours with his favorite bone of the day. Rutabaga is good with the other dogs in his foster home, and would probably do well with cats with proper introductions— this hasn’t been tested, but he tends to take his foster mom’s cues with anything new & does well with redirection when needed! There is so much more that could be said about this guy, he’s got a big personality & an ever bigger heart! Truly, a total catch. If interested, please  complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Story
Meet Ink! Ink just turned 1 year old in June and is on the hunt for his forever family.  He’s a spunky guy and is the perfect combo of playful and chill and cuddly. He’s been great with a variety of dogs and also has some cat friends. He’s housetrained. He does well in a crate but it does stress him a bit.  His ideal home would only need to crate him 4-5 hours a day. If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Nala - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hello all you fantastic people out there, let me introduce myself. My name is Nala and I'm here hoping to adopt me a family...one that I can say will be all mine! I is a tad bit shy quiet pup upon first meet but with a heart of gold. I may be a bit timid at first, but give me a snuggle and I'll be sure to shower you with lots of kisses and affection! Just give me a NY second (I don't even need the whole minute) and I'll attach myself and will be your lil velcro pup. At only 8 months and around 40lbs I was dumped at the local shelter by my breeder cuz I aged out. At 8 months I've never known what a family is like, what a soft bed is, what a loving snuggle feels like! But I still have a loving nature that does great with people both tall and small and despite my shyer nature, I am a clever girl who loves to make new doggie friends and play. I'm a sweet and gentle pup who is looking for a home where I can get that little extra TLC to help me blossom into the bestest girl out there. I'm an ideal companion for quiet walks in the park, hiking nature trails, camping trips and for curling up on the couch while we watch a movie. I will be your loyal companion that will have your back, always at your side. If you're ready for lots of love and affection, I is that girl for you! All you need to do is fill out my adoption application and I will do the rest!! You can find it at haydudeequine.org
