Story
Thumper here is our tiny cattle dog. We almost want to say he has to have come corgi in him based on his size. But regardless of what he is, he is 100% cute as a button! Thumber is good with other dogs, but we do recommend feeding separately. He has some food aggression with dogs only. He is otherwise a very sweet and playful boy! He loves squeaky toys and loves attention. His previous owner was arrested and she asked us to find him a good home for her! So let's get this boy a good home for Christmas!

Story
Lady is about 2/3 years old! She is sweet and gentle. She is the perfect balance of playful and calm. She came from a sad situation. She is skittish around men because her previous owner was an elderly man who had dementia and in one incident accidentally poured hot coffee on her. He later then surrendered her to Summits Sanctuary. Because of her past, she is shy and scared of new people (especially men) but will warm up to you with love and patience! She is completely house trained and is spayed and up to date with all her vaccines. She LOVES playing with our puppies and almost every dog she meets. Please give this sweet dog a home and show her what love is. Story
Kona is the sweetest, cuddliest girl, is extremely loyal and loves to be a companion. She’s ready for any hike or adventure, but also loves to chill and cuddle inside with her family. She has lived her life with us on 17 acres of land, she loves chasing squirrels and herding the four wheeler. She grew up with a cat, but is picky with dogs she likes. She needs a home with land and no children, with someone who’s experienced with cattle dogs. She’d be a great addition to any person who’s looking for a companion dog. She was born with hip dysplasia that she has to take daily supplements for, along with the occasional pain medicine. She is not friendly to children, she also has reactivity to handling due to a traumatic vet incident. She has never hurt us but she is very communicative with her discomfort, she needs someone who can read dog cues and body language. We would have kept her her whole life, but we are no longer child free, and want her to be somewhere she can thrive.

Story
Meet Maggie! Maggie is a 2 year old Aussie who is as loyal as you best friend! She loves snuggles, laying in the couch, and being with her person. Maggie is crate and house trained and she's great with other dogs and cats. She's a gentle soul, so she would be great around children, too. She's around 35-40 pounds of pure precious! Unfortunately, Maggie was surrendered to Hootie's along with 2 of her puppies.  Their surrender was of no fault of their own.  Their owner was arrested and the puppies were born while he was away.  ##2245829##
