Story
Hi! My name is Marry, and it is so nice to meet you!I am a 2 year old mixy mutt that was rescued for another shelter in hurricane Helene's path. I spent a lot of time there before coming here, but I've been told that this community really rallies around us doggies and I may see my forever home really soon! I am a sweet and very social girl just lookin' for my people, and I'm thinkin' mountain life suites me! I'm active, and could possibly be a nice adventure buddy, but can just as easily curl up on the couch and be your cuddle buddy. Please come by and show me how awesome N. GA can be to my South Georgia heart!Weight: Primary Color: Tan Weight: 37.4 Age: 2yrs 0mths 1wks

Story
Hiya! Layla here!I am a bouncy, energetic four year old cattledog mix. My breed is high energy but I can have my quiet moments. I will definitely be happiest in a more active home where we can be adventure buddies, and possibly go on long walks where I can use my herding dog brain. I am fully grown up and considered a medium sized dog, but with my short lil legs I certainly give of Fun-sized vibes. Before I was here I was at a small shelter over 260 miles away from here! There was apparently a very scary storm, and I was lucky enough to come here after the destruction. I've been told that the people here are amazing at adopting out pups into amazing homes! I don't think I've ever seen mountains before and now I think I'll be a happy mountaineer pup. Come meet me today and maybe add a little Lala into your life! See you soon!Weight: 37 lbs Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 36.5 Age: 4yrs 0mths 1wks

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
A FUN FRIEND FOR YOU:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 41 lbs.  Hello – I’m Rich!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I am thrilled to be a part of the MM family, where I am getting lots of love and great care from the dedicated volunteers.  I recently got some great news!  I am now ready to find a family of my very own.  I look forward to that day, so come meet me soon!  I’m currently in the prison/foster training program off site and learning a lot!  Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I’m available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met some other dogs at Mostly Mutts and did not like the male dogs, but I was good with the female dogs that I met, so if you have a female dog that won’t mind letting me be the more dominant of the two of us, then let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  It’s unanimous, the volunteers say I am ‘a great dog’ and I bet you will agree!  I’m friendly with people and love spending time with them.  I have a true cattle dog nature – strong-willed and independent yet I’m as happy and smart as I am handsome.  I have a curious nature, so have a good hold of my leash, as I pull to get to whatever catches my nose right now.  When left out of my crate, my nose has found a few things that don’t belong to me to play with, so if I’m quiet for too long, you should be suspicious.  I’m quite affectionate and let out some grunts, growls and sighs of ecstasy during that GREAT shampoo massage for my shelter bath.  / My energy level is 8–10, so I will require regular exercise. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I love my training sessions.  I am learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer.  A smart boy, I already know the ‘sit’, ‘down’ and ‘place’ commands.  I’m working on my leash manners too, since I am a pretty strong puller.  Check back soon to see what else I have learned. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners are very good on the prison/foster training schedule. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  Spending time with people is just the best, and my favorite part of my shelter walk is perching on a stump on the property and checking out everything going on around me.  I love to check things out and explore.  Bones are fun to chew on, and I am always up for scratches and cuddles. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a great furever home with a loving family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  October 16, 2024, 6:58 am

Story
Bluey's owner dropped him off at the front door of animal control and took off.  Sweet little Bluey was so confused and cried out for his mom.  He was quickly comforted in the hands of the animal control officer.  The rescue coordinator reached out and one of our amazing foster parents went running to get him!  He is settling in well and so sweet and snuggly.  He loves to play and get endless belly rubs.  Working on potty training and crate training.  He will not last long! ##2202245##

Story
Todd Phox is an exceptionally smart and high-energy guy.  We believe he is a mix of a Carolina Dog and a Cattle Dog/Heeler. He is about 1.5 years old and weighs around 45 pounds.   Todd Phox is super athletic and loves to wrestle with other dogs - sometimes, he plays a little roughly, but he responds well to corrections. Both of his breeds are very energetic dogs, and Todd Phox is no exception. He absolutely loves his walks and walks very well on a leash. Are you a runner?  Todd will be happy to run with you.  Todd Phox is highly intelligent and enjoys training, including learning new tricks and commands.  He already knows, "sit, down, and shake" and is an extremely quick study.  He is also crate and house-trained.  Because of  Todd Phox's energy, having a fenced yard will benefit your family and Todd as it provides an outlet. But Todd Phox does know how to relax - once he is tired, he will hang out on his foster family's deck while watching over his yard or chewing on his toys, but be careful with your shoes, or he might chew those too!   Because he is part Carolina Dog, he is independent and not overly affectionate.  But when he wants to play, he pokes you with his nose to check on you or to engage you to play with him; he likes tug of war, fetch, and overall ball throwing, etc., and he loves to interact with his people. Todd Phox's best home is with a family without small children because he can be jumpy. But he would love to jump into your heart.   More pictures of Mr.Todd can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/gp/125343018@N03/2F8D0n94DW         An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.           October 16, 2024, 2:18 pm
