Story
A FUN FRIEND FOR YOU:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 41 lbs.  Hello – I’m Rich!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I am thrilled to be a part of the MM family, where I am getting lots of love and great care from the dedicated volunteers.  I recently got some great news!  I am now ready to find a family of my very own.  I look forward to that day, so come meet me soon!  I got to participate in the prison/foster training program and learned a lot! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met some other dogs at Mostly Mutts and did fine with the male dogs, but I preferred the female dogs that I met, so if you have a dog that won’t mind letting me be the more dominant of the two of us, then let’s meet! / I met a cat recently at Mostly Mutts and we all agree that I should not live with cats.  / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  It’s unanimous, the volunteers say I am ‘a great dog’ and I bet you will agree! I’m friendly with people and love spending time with them.  I have a true cattle dog nature – strong-willed and independent yet I’m as happy and smart as I am handsome.  When left out of my crate, my nose has found a few things that don’t belong to me to play with, so if I’m quiet for too long, you should be suspicious.  I’m quite affectionate and let out some grunts, growls and sighs of ecstasy during that GREAT shampoo massage for my shelter bath.  / My energy level is 8–10, so I will require regular exercise. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands.  I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping.  / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners are very good on the prison/foster training schedule. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  Spending time with people is just the best, and my favorite part of my shelter walk is perching on a stump on the property and checking out everything going on around me.  I love to check things out and explore.  Bones are fun to chew on, and I am always up for scratches and cuddles. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a great furever home with a loving family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  November 3, 2024, 8:07 am

Story
Todd Phox is an exceptionally smart and high-energy guy.  We believe he is a mix of a Carolina Dog and a Cattle Dog/Heeler. He is about 1.5 years old and weighs around 45 pounds.   Todd Phox is super athletic and loves to wrestle with other dogs - sometimes, he plays a little roughly, but he responds well to corrections. Both of his breeds are very energetic dogs, and Todd Phox is no exception. He absolutely loves his walks and walks very well on a leash. Are you a runner?  Todd will be happy to run with you.  Todd Phox is highly intelligent and enjoys training, including learning new tricks and commands.  He already knows, "sit, down, and shake" and is an extremely quick study.  He is also crate and house-trained.  Because of  Todd Phox's energy, having a fenced yard will benefit your family and Todd as it provides an outlet. But Todd Phox does know how to relax - once he is tired, he will hang out on his foster family's deck while watching over his yard or chewing on his toys, but be careful with your shoes, or he might chew those too!   Because he is part Carolina Dog, he is independent and not overly affectionate.  But when he wants to play, he pokes you with his nose to check on you or to engage you to play with him; he likes tug of war, fetch, and overall ball throwing, etc., and he loves to interact with his people. Todd Phox's best home is with a family without small children because he can be jumpy. But he would love to jump into your heart.   More pictures of Mr.Todd can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/gp/125343018@N03/2F8D0n94DW         An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.           November 5, 2024, 4:02 pm
