Story
Hiiii! My name is Whiskey. I am a 10 month old red heeler. I was purchased from a breeder, but unfortunately my family wasn’t able to keep up with my fast paced lifestyle and so now I’m at Releashed. I love to run and play with my foster siblings. I absolutely want a home with another dog to hang out with. I’m crate trained and so far, seem to be potty trained. I haven’t had any accidents at my foster house. Since I am a heeler, I probably don’t need to tell you that I have endless energy. I require a lot of exercise. But after a long day of running wild, I like to curl up on the couch, watch some Netflix, and get belly rubs. If you’re looking for a handsome and sweet boy, I’m your guy!

Story
Home for the Holiday - Adoption Fees Reduced if Adopted by January 10th!   Todd Phox is a brilliant and high-energy guy.  We believe he is a mix of a Carolina Dog and a Cattle Dog/Heeler. He is about two years old and weighs around 45 pounds.   Todd Phox is super athletic and loves to wrestle with other dogs - sometimes, he plays a little roughly, but he responds well to corrections. Both of his breeds are very energetic dogs, and Todd Phox is no exception. He loves his walks and walks very well on a leash. Are you a runner?  Todd will be happy to run with you.  Todd Phox is highly intelligent and enjoys training, including learning new tricks and commands.  He knows "sit, down, and shake" and is a quick study.  He is also crate and house-trained.  Because of  Todd Phox's energy, having a fenced yard will benefit your family and Todd as it provides an outlet. But Todd Phox does know how to relax - once he is tired, he will hang out on his foster family's deck while watching over his yard or chewing on his toys, but be careful with your shoes, or he might chew those too!   Because he is part Carolina Dog, he is independent and not overly affectionate.  But when he wants to play, he pokes you with his nose to check on you or to engage you to play with him; he likes tug of war, fetch, and overall ball throwing, etc., and he loves to interact with his people. Todd Phox's best home is with a family without small children because he likes to jump. But he would love to jump into your heart.   More pictures of Mr.Todd can be found here: https://www.flickr.com/gp/125343018@N03/2F8D0n94DW         An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. Story
Lucie Blue is the sweetest girl! She is around 8 years old and an Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler. Lucie weighs around 55 pounds, and has detached retinas in both eyes. This does mean that she is now blind, but it doesn't stop this sweet pup! Lucie learns her environment and has also figured out how to navigate the deck stairs at her foster home.    Lucie Blue has a lot of love to give and deserves a special family to love her in return!  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Nova is a 5 y/o blue heeler. She is house broken and usually doesn’t mind her crate but she has her moments. Doesnt like bath time, but will tolerate it. She is not socialized, but once you establish dominance, she immediately lets her guard down. Barks EXCESSIVELY. Doesn’t howl, but whines. Leash trained. Understands commands “sit” “come” “stop” “eat”. Sheds tremendously. Needs a home with a big yard/a lot of land so she can run around and be happy. Not good for a family with small children and/or other pets unless you can properly train her. Very food motivated. Loves to be rubbed and kissed. Has allergies, but otherwise very very healthy.

Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Atlanta, GA Meet Hudson Fox! He is an 2 year old Australian Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog mix and weighs between 45-50 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Hudson Fox is nervous around strangers! He hasn’t been tested around kids. He is good with cats! No dogs, due to his reactivity! He is housebroken and crate-trained. Hudson Fox has bitten 3 people. He bit the owner in May 2023 when they attempted to put a muzzle on him while at the vet clinic. He bit the owner’s friend on the hand in May 2024 when meeting him for the first time. Hudson Fox also bit the owner in October 2024 when they attempted to clean his paws after he had an accident in the house. The owner is surrendering him because of his severe anxiety. He also needs an environment with a fenced-in yard, so he can run. He needs to go ASAP! If you think you can provide a great home for Hudson Fox, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $100 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Hudson Fox. FOSTER NEEDED FOR OAKLEY METRO ATLANTA ONLY Contact  passionforanimals5017@gmail.com  if want to help sweet little Oakley Oakley is a young, adorable, nearly 2-year old Mini Australian Shephard/Lab mix who is small at 24 pounds.  Oakley was with current owner since a puppy but cannot keep as the family is too busy (3 kids and another large dog and cat), and Oakley is not getting the love, care and attention she needs. Oakley doesn’t play with toys too much but does play w/them when her non-sibling brother, Dobie mix, plays w/them and her.  She likes running around w/him in their yard.  She is a bit docile and submits to pets by rolling on her back for belly rubs. Oakley would be an easy addition for anyone as she lives w/three children ages (4, 6, & 9 years old), a cat, and a dog, so she’s good w/all.  We would like to take this girl in now before she winds up somewhere not so good but need a foster home until her adoptive home is found.  FOSTER NEEDED FOR OAKLEY METRO ATLANTA ONLY Contact passionforanimals5017@gmail.com if want to help sweet little Oakley  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 10:40 pm
