Story
I took over care for this girl 6 years ago and she has been a wonderful companion. She is very loving, knows commands, and is house trained. She’s never been around kids. She is reactive to bigger dogs but has never bitten, just growled. She is leash and crate trained as well. She will bark if someone knocks or rings the doorbell.

Story
Bandit is a young and handsome energetic pup. He is around 40lbs and is a year old. He needs a person willing to spend time continuing his training as he is young and still in the chewing stage. He is treat and attention motivated. He is crate trained, rides well in car, he has made great strides on leash walking and potty training. Bandit has a silly, fun personality. He is very curious and has a lot of potential, I would say medium to high energy but he does have an off switch. He was a little nervous during thunderstorms but just needs to know where his person is. Bandit is an all around love bug that gets along well with other dogs, is neutered, current on immunizations and on preventatives. If he sounds perfect for your family, please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration ane transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue eforts.

Story
Rosie is a sweet girl that my husband and I saved from a kill shelter. She was pregnant at the time and we were able to rehome all her puppies free of charge. Unfortunately Rosie has not been able to find a forever family. We are in desperate need of one due to my recent diagnosis and not being able to care for all of our dogs anymore. Please consider giving Rosie a loving family. She truly deserves it.

Sophie is an 8 year old female mix breed that weighs 55 lbs.  She came into rescue after the passing of her owner.  She would do best as an only pet as she gets very anxious and possessive over toys.   She has been spayed, current on all vaccines including Rabies and Bordetella, heartworm and fecal negative and microchipped. She has been on a monthly heartworm and flea preventative.  All dogs shed and most of our dogs are mix breeds and are not recommended for any person suffering with allergies. ADOPTION DONATION:  $200.00 ADOPTION PROCESS: ***Please be advised you must live in or near the Tampa area and be able to provide an established veterinary reference to adopt from our organization and no children under 6 years please.  Preference is given to homeowners and with some breeds we will not consider renters of any type. 1.  Submit an online application at www.lostangelsanimalrescue.org.  It can take 3 - 7 days to process an application.  Please notify your vet's office that we may be contacting them and to release information to us. 2. Background checks, vet references and verification of home ownership will be conducted.  If we are considering a renter, landlords will be contacted to ensure breed mixture and size of dog is permitted and if a pet deposit is required.  3. You will ONLY be contacted if your application is approved to arrange a homevisit. Story
Meet Giblets! Small in stature but big in personality this little ball of energy will keep you on your toes. She’s a 2 year old female unaltered Australian Cattle Dog Mix - mixed with what we don’t know - but she’s 100% cattle dog. Cattle dogs also know as red heelers or blue heelers, are considered one of the top 10 most intelligent dog breeds and Giblets is no exception. This red heeler will be the most loyal and energetic companion you have ever met. Quite frankly we don’t know why she hasn’t been snatched up by now. If you like an active ball chasing, frisbee catching partner she’s your gal. This amazing working dog is not only strong and resilient but easily trainable. ACD’s are known to excel at dock diving and agility but they do have a hard off switch to relax and be that couch potato you need, but only for a little while. She has work to do. She will protect your home and loved ones making her the perfect family pet. Every dog lover needs the experience of being “owned” by an Australian Cattle Dog. If you’re ready for an adventure and a lifetime of love, consider adopting Giblets today! For more up to date information on this dog please go to our website @ https://www.playk9rescue.org/adopt-a-dog The adoption fee for this pet covers the cost of care and training which may have been for several weeks or several months depending on the health and training needs. The fee also covers all vet bills during this time to ensure his/her health is improved or maintained and provides you with assurance that this dog has been well cared for while in our possession and evaluated to meet your home's needs. Included in this fee is also life- long training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Bradenton, FL as well as Life time microchip registration. When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters/owners and get them adopted to their forever home. PLAY! K9 Rescue will pay for the spay/neuter of this adopted dog. The spay/neuter must be done at a clinic or veterinarian's office approved by PLAY! K9 Rescue. If the adopter chooses to take the pet to their own veterinarian for the spay/neuter procedure, PLAY! K9 Rescue will refund the cost equivalent to an approved PLAY! K9 Rescue veterinarian or clinic. All of our unaltered pets have a fully refundable deposit of $150.00 included within the adoption fee. Once the pet is altered at the appropriate time and proof supplied to our rescue, the adopter will be reimbursed $150.00. Our adoption contract explains this process in detail.
