He is neutered, in excellent health, and fully up to date on all vaccinations and preventative care. Oreo spent his entire life deeply loved by his owner, and heartbreakingly, his world changed when his owner passed away two months ago. He is now in foster care, where it’s clear just how well he was raised—with kindness, structure, and affection. Oreo would be perfectly content as an only dog, but he’d also enjoy sharing his home with another well-adjusted canine companion. His foster would gladly keep him if health allowed—but the priority is finding Oreo the forever home he deserves, where he can be loved just as deeply again.

    This is Diego. He's an 11 month old Aussie mix that needs a foster home. He was a "free dog" online and the original owners did not represent him honestly with the new owners. Things are not working out and he needs to be properly placed (after full vetting). He is scheduled dor neuter on Tuesday. We hope to have a foster in place by then. He's great with his people and FEMALE dogs. His behavior around cats is unknown because the family does not have cats. There was a pretty bad fight between Diego and the senior male dog in this family. Since the fight the family has been distrusting of his behavior around the four-year-old as well so to be safe they have kept them separate. This is why he has to go. For this reason, we do not want him fostered with male dogs until he has been vetted and properly evaluated. We also do not feel that he should be placed in a home with young children until vetting and evaluation. He's a beautiful boy and deserves a happily ever after. We can help him find it!! It may well be he just needs his testosterone to be taken care of. Many dogs settle down after neuter and it's never fair to these animals when the original owners do not divulge all the information to the new owners. We feel this is a combination of situations that has just worked against Diego.
