ADOPTION PROCESS: The adoption process is simple and straight forward.Pre-Screening Adoption Application here: https://tinyurl.com/adoptfromHSCCOur receptionists can usually approve/dis-approve your application same day. Once approved and everyone is in agreeance with the decision being made you then are able to pay your adoption fees. Adoption contract will be signed. If the pet has not been spayed/neutered or current on rabies vaccination prior to adoption, the pet you wish to adopt will not be able to go home same day as it's adoption day. We will schedule the next available appointment day & time - you will be informed with further directions/instructions at that time.  We hope this answers any and all questions you may have regarding the adoption process.

Bella is a 3yr old red heeler. She was given to us by a very busy nurse when she was 1. We have had professional training with her and she is good with kids and other dogs. She is quiet, not a barker. However, cats don't seem to enjoy time with her due to her very energetic personality. Amazing temperament, sweet, a lot of energy.

Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Jacksonville, FL Meet Blue! He is an 4 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 47 lbs. He is microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention, but isn’t neutered. Blue is fearful around strangers (he warms up quicker to females when introduced properly). He hasn’t been tested around cats or other dogs, but is fine with the dogs inside of his home. No kids, due to his reactivity! He loves to play fetch, run around the yard, and snuggle up on your lap! Blue has had 3 bite incidents last year. He bit a toddler on the forehead. He bit a child when they approached him on the couch with a big toy. He also bit the owner’s toddler after she approached him and tried to pet him in the kitchen. The owner is surrendering him because he has bitten their young children and shown aggression towards them. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for him, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Blue. Owner’s Contact Information: Dayana Alvarez at dayana_01@hotmail.com.
