Story
Larry and Lexi are two devoted companions looking for a loving home where they can thrive together. This bonded pair brings a balance of energy and affection, with unique personalities that complement each other beautifully.Larry aka Lido is a bright, energetic dog with a love for learning and a strong desire to please. He is high energy outdoors, but calm and well-behaved indoors after exercise. He knows basic commands and learns quickly. Sleeps peacefully in his crate through the night. Calmly waits to receive attention when asked to “sit” and “be calm.” He does best with gradual introductions to other animals and is not well-suited for homes with young children. He takes time to adjust to new environments and is afraid of gunshots (but not thunder). His best day is spent playing fetch, structured activities, and relaxing in his crate after a busy day.Lexi is a sweet, cuddly girl who thrives on love and companionship. She is gentle, affectionate, and happy. She loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch with her favorite person. She is generally calm but occasionally gets the “zoomies.” She is partially house-trained (uses pee pads when left alone during the day). She’s friendly with other animals and people. She can be timid around new things but warms up with patience and reassurance. Her best day is Couch cuddles, happy moments, and a peaceful environment.Their Ideal Home• A calm, loving household without young children.• Active adopters who can provide Larry with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.• Someone patient and understanding of their individual quirks, particularly Larry’s adjustment period to new surroundings and Lexi’s occasional nervousness.• A family that values snuggles (Lexi will be your shadow!) and enjoys a mix of active outdoor time and cozy indoor companionship. This pair offers the best of both worlds: Larry’s zest for life and intelligence paired with Lexi’s calming, loving nature. They’re deeply bonded and bring out the best in each other, creating a harmonious balance of energy and affection. Together, they’ll fill your home with love, loyalty, and unforgettable moments.Requirements: Martingale Collar; Bonded Pair; Children 16+All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
Hello! I'm Brandy, and I'm so excited to meet you! I've been enjoying my time here at Big Dog Ranch, but I'm ready to find my forever home. Can you believe this could be my THIRD holiday season without a real home? I'm only 2 1/2 years old, and I've been here since December 2022. My previous owner decided they didn't want me anymore, but I'm hopeful for better days ahead. The staff here take excellent care of me and have taught me many things. I've learned to walk nicely on a leash, made lots of friends to play with, and I keep my area very clean. I love playing outside and getting all the medical care I need to stay healthy. All I need now is a family to call my own. Did I mention I LOVE snuggling? Just imagine coming home after a long day, going for a nice walk to unwind, enjoying a nice dinner together, and then cuddling up with me on the couch! If you're looking for a loving companion, come out to the Ranch and meet me. I'm patiently waiting for my forever family to find me! Maybe it will be you!

Story
Hi, I'm Faith! I'm a high-energy girl with a big heart! I was a mom once, and now I'm ready to find my forever home where I can be the star of the show. I need an adult-only environment and some humans with experience in handling dogs like me, so I can truly thrive. I'm fantastic on the leash, making our walks a joyful adventure, and I get along well with other dogs, so I'd love to have some playmates! I'm also fully housetrained, which makes me a great companion. Toys are my absolute favorite-I can spend hours playing with them, and when it's time to relax, I'm all about those cuddles. There's nothing better than snuggling up with my humans after a fun day! While I'm full of love and energy, I'm not great with cats, so I'd prefer a home where I can be the only furball. If you're looking for an affectionate, playful companion who's ready for new adventures, I can't wait to meet you! Let's create some amazing memories together!

Story
Marty is such a handsome fella. A strapping young lad, you might say! He's a young black and white short haired shepherd, just over a year old and around 55lbs. His facial features definitely show signs of bull terrier. He has pointed ears that shoot up or down to adorably portray his excitement and curiosity. He's a serious wiggle-butt. He's always in a great mood, happy-go-lucky with a playful and innocent young-dog demeanor. He loves exercise, whether it be playing with all of his dog friends (he's super dog friendly), going on a bike ride alongside you on a leash, or going for a walk/run. If you're looking for a dog to go on adventures with, he's your guy! He would do best in a home with an active family. A canine brother or sister would be a nice bonus, he loves to have someone to play with! He loves all humans and craves your attention. He has not been tested with cats, but he's a loving creature and would likely be OK with a feline companion in the home. After a decompression period away from the kennel environment he would likely do fine with kids in the home! Don't pass on the chance to meet this cute guy! He'll pull at your heart strings from the second you meet him. If you are interested in adopting you must be available and open to a home check, provide vet references (proof that you keep your other pets up to date on all shots, prevention meds and yearly wellness checks, and that other pets in home are neutered or spayed) The adoption fee for this dog is $250.PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET REQUIREMENTS!Apply at pawsfurrecovery.orgWe look forward to receiving your application and will process it within 3 days.If you meet requirements we will call you. Thanks for your interest in this amazing rescue dog!May 23, 2024, 12:04 am
