Story
Howdy! I'm Tex, a handsome 4 year old Australian Cattle Dog with a heart as warm as the soft red and white fur that covers me. I embarked on a journey from Texas to sunny South Florida back in March 2021, seeking a new beginning after a storm left my previous home without power. Since then, I've been enjoying the Florida sunshine, patiently waiting for that special family to take me to my forever home. I'm an active fellow who loves long walks and is always up for some basic training sessions - I'm a quick learner! When the temperature rises, you'll find me happily splashing around in little pools to cool off. Meeting new people is something I take seriously, preferring a structured introduction. No worries, though - our dedicated trainer is here to ensure a smooth and comfortable process. With a bit of patience and a whole lot of love, I'm confident that I can blossom into the perfect companion for you. Could you be the one to unlock the next chapter of my adventure? Let's find out! Please note that an appointment is necessary to meet this specific pet. Kindly call 561-747-5311 to schedule.

Story
Daisy's story unfolds from the depths of cruelty, saved by an angel in Putnam County, Florida. Three heartless figures sought to hang her, but intervention at the eleventh hour spared her life. Now sheltered at Big Dog Ranch Rescue, Daisy grapples with shadows, her trust shattered by human cruelty. The leash, once a weapon, is a symbol of her trauma. She needs a patient hand, a gentle guide to rewrite the tragic narrative that stains her past. Can you be the chapter of hope in Daisy's heartbreaking tale?

Story
Hello! I'm Brandy, and I'm so excited to meet you! I've been enjoying my time here at Big Dog Ranch, but I'm ready to find my forever home. Can you believe this could be my THIRD holiday season without a real home? I'm only 2 1/2 years old, and I've been here since December 2022. My previous owner decided they didn't want me anymore, but I'm hopeful for better days ahead. The staff here take excellent care of me and have taught me many things. I've learned to walk nicely on a leash, made lots of friends to play with, and I keep my area very clean. I love playing outside and getting all the medical care I need to stay healthy. All I need now is a family to call my own. Did I mention I LOVE snuggling? Just imagine coming home after a long day, going for a nice walk to unwind, enjoying a nice dinner together, and then cuddling up with me on the couch! If you're looking for a loving companion, come out to the Ranch and meet me. I'm patiently waiting for my forever family to find me! Maybe it will be you!

Story
Marty is such a handsome fella. A strapping young lad, you might say! He's a young black and white short haired shepherd, just over a year old and around 55lbs. His facial features definitely show signs of bull terrier. He has pointed ears that shoot up or down to adorably portray his excitement and curiosity. He's a serious wiggle-butt. He's always in a great mood, happy-go-lucky with a playful and innocent young-dog demeanor. He loves exercise, whether it be playing with all of his dog friends (he's super dog friendly), going on a bike ride alongside you on a leash, or going for a walk/run. If you're looking for a dog to go on adventures with, he's your guy! He would do best in a home with an active family. A canine brother or sister would be a nice bonus, he loves to have someone to play with! He loves all humans and craves your attention. He has not been tested with cats, but he's a loving creature and would likely be OK with a feline companion in the home. After a decompression period away from the kennel environment he would likely do fine with kids in the home! Don't pass on the chance to meet this cute guy! He'll pull at your heart strings from the second you meet him. If you are interested in adopting you must be available and open to a home check, provide vet references (proof that you keep your other pets up to date on all shots, prevention meds and yearly wellness checks, and that other pets in home are neutered or spayed) The adoption fee for this dog is $250.PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET REQUIREMENTS!Apply at pawsfurrecovery.orgWe look forward to receiving your application and will process it within 3 days.If you meet requirements we will call you. Thanks for your interest in this amazing rescue dog!May 23, 2024, 12:04 am
