Story
Hello there, I'm Karl, a three-year-old cattledog mix overflowing with charm and playfulness! With my endearing goofiness and joyous nature, I'm guaranteed to bring laughter and love into your home. Toys are my passion-I can't resist a squeaky ball or a plushy friend to toss around. Whether it's a game of fetch in the yard or a puzzle toy indoors, I'm always up for fun and games. My enthusiasm is contagious, and I'll keep you entertained with my antics and my wagging tail. I've got a special place in my heart for kids! Their energy matches mine, and I love nothing more than playing gently and sharing affection with them. I'm patient and tolerant, making me a perfect companion for a family with little ones who want to join in on the fun. At three years old, I'm past the puppy stage but still have plenty of zest for life. I'm eager to learn new tricks and would thrive with continued training and positive reinforcement. With a little guidance, I'll be the well-behaved and loving companion you've always wanted. I get along well with other dogs too and enjoy making new friends wherever I go. My friendly nature extends to everyone I meet, and I'm always ready to shower you with love and cuddles at the end of an active day. If you're looking for a spirited and affectionate addition to your family, someone who adores playtime and cherishes kids, then I am the perfect match for you. Come meet me, and let's cuddle, play, and go on endless adventures together! Story
I got this sweet dog, her name is Freckles. I love her so much and want the best home, however she's a danger to my cats. I tried my best to train her but her prey drive is super high, perfect for a hunter. She is quite athletic, fast running and incredibly intelligent. She has a resource guarding problem but she is in pain. She suffers from Entropion, and I can and will pay for her surgery. She takes Carprofen for the pain (dog ibuprofen) I can't keep her due to her energy levels, and inability to "leave it" with my cats. I have trained her with the commands sit, wait, go, lay down, play dead, leave it, (she also responds to drop it) paw and stand. She's is a good girl and needs room to run and play, preferably with other dogs. She is a happy, loving girl with separation anxiety. I had her as my ESA. She is only a puppy, a big playful puppy who does not know her strength. She needs someone who understands energetic dogs, someone active and someone who is kind.

Story
Meet Giblets! Small in stature but big in personality this little ball of energy will keep you on your toes. She’s a 2 year old female unaltered Australian Cattle Dog Mix - mixed with what we don’t know - but she’s 100% cattle dog. Cattle dogs also know as red heelers or blue heelers, are considered one of the top 10 most intelligent dog breeds and Giblets is no exception. This red heeler will be the most loyal and energetic companion you have ever met. Quite frankly we don’t know why she hasn’t been snatched up by now. If you like an active ball chasing, frisbee catching partner she’s your gal. This amazing working dog is not only strong and resilient but easily trainable. ACD’s are known to excel at dock diving and agility but they do have a hard off switch to relax and be that couch potato you need, but only for a little while. She has work to do. She will protect your home and loved ones making her the perfect family pet. Every dog lover needs the experience of being “owned” by an Australian Cattle Dog. If you’re ready for an adventure and a lifetime of love, consider adopting Giblets today! For more up to date information on this dog please go to our website @ https://www.playk9rescue.org/adopt-a-dog The adoption fee for this pet covers the cost of care and training which may have been for several weeks or several months depending on the health and training needs. PLAY! K9 Rescue will pay for the spay/neuter of this adopted dog. The spay/neuter must be done at a clinic or veterinarian's office approved by PLAY! K9 Rescue. If the adopter chooses to take the pet to their own veterinarian for the spay/neuter procedure, PLAY! K9 Rescue will refund the cost equivalent to an approved PLAY! K9 Rescue veterinarian or clinic. All of our unaltered pets have a fully refundable deposit of $150.00 included within the adoption fee. Story
Are you looking for an adorable Mini Pin/Cattle dog Mix? Turtle is the gal for you! What a combination and she is all puppy joy with none of the hard work! This sweet, affectionate 1 year old girl loves her people and other dogs. She enjoys running and chasing sticks and toys. Fetch is her favorite pastime if she’s not curled up next to you snuggling. Turtle loves chewing on her bones & ropes. She is very curious about cats but does not chase and is respectful of their space. Turtle is house trained and would do best in a home with other dogs of similar size and energy to help her stay confident. She rides very well in the car and does very well with children (so far only tested with children ages 4 and up).
