We are unsure if she gets along with other dogs as she is so new to our shelter, so remember to bring your own pup with you for a meet and greet! ADOPTION PROCESS: The adoption process is simple and straight forward.Pre-Screening Adoption Application here: https://tinyurl.com/adoptfromHSCCOur receptionists can usually approve/dis-approve your application same day. Once approved and everyone is in agreeance with the decision being made you then are able to pay your adoption fees. Adoption contract will be signed. If the pet has not been spayed/neutered or current on rabies vaccination prior to adoption, the pet you wish to adopt will not be able to go home same day as it's adoption day. We will schedule the next available appointment day & time - you will be informed with further directions/instructions at that time.  We hope this answers any and all questions you may have regarding the adoption process.

Story
Stratus is about 8years old. He was acquired from a friend in 2019 who could no longer keep him. He has been a good sidekick for many years. He is funny, loyal and loves a good belly rub. He is completely potty and crate trained, does not chew up anything and is good being left alone for long hours, because we all have jobs right? Stratus is not the kind of dog that slobbers your face with kisses like most dogs, but has his own special way of just giving you a peck on the cheek. He loves people! He hasnt been around children so I am not sure how he will do. He does not get along with other dogs or cats. He lives with cats now but has been starting to attack them for no reason and is getting out of hand. This is the reason we are rehoming him. He needs to be an only fur baby. He is a great dog and would love to have just his humans! We love him, but we are seriously concerened about him hurting one of the other animals, so for that reason he needs a new furever home.

Paris is a very smart and energetic girl. She will go all day if you let her or she will cuddle up inside and go to sleep. She does not need to be on a farm or around a lot of animals as her drive to chase is too strong. She has amazing recall and will come straight to you if told. She is a dominant female so other dominant females are not her best fit. No cats. And no small dogs. With all that being said she is super smart and super sweet and she deserves a home of her own.
