Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Brock is a 4 month old 18 lb Blue Heeler mix.  He is adorable and friendly with a big personality.  He loves tug games, soft squeaky toys and chew toys & he loves to run with other dogs while playing.  He is treat motivated and smart and is already learning sit and down. Brock loves other dogs and is learning from his foster siblings too.  He does settle down and will snuggle up with his favorite sibling on the couch.  Brock does sometimes exhibit Blue Heeler cattle dog herding behaviors. However his foster has found Brock carrying a ball or of toy during his running with the pack keeps him busy with a job and his behavior excellent. Keep in mind, he’s all puppy so small children and senior dogs are not a good fit for him but teens and younger playful dogs would be great.  Brock needs an adopter who will be able to engage his mind and body with plenty of exercise and challenges.  He definitely needs an active person or family with a fenced in yard. He is working on crate and potty training and will need potty and exercise breaks every 2 to 3 hours. He’s also learning to walk on a leash,  but will still need to continue his training and socialization.  Videos of Brock at the following links:   https://youtu.be/MYADO2CA1p8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9J8LBFNtMM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tWQ_Mw9H2s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37QSg0_f6p4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLUptqJZW88 If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and feel your home is a great fit for Brock please send in an application and let us know more about yourself.  July 6, 2024, 9:17 am

Story
Jackson is a great dog. He's very loving and wonderful with kids. He was found running feral on an Indian reservation in Wyoming. He was adopted and sent here to Florida. Unfortunately, they no experience working with dogs. They had issues with him peeing in the house, chewing stuff, and counter surfing. They ended up leaving him outside most of the time with an invisible fence. They wanted to get rid of him, so my daughter agreed to take him. She worked with him, and the only thing she never broke him of was the counter surfing. Unfortunately, her Mastiff did not like Jackson and attacked him several times. This resulted in one or the other being locked in a crate all the time. She moved out of my house and took her other two dogs with her, leaving Jackson here. I work 7 days a week and he needs more attention than I can provide at this time, causing him to get into trouble. He has stopped the counter surfing. He is super gentle and would be great with an older couple or kids.

Story
Hi, my name is Peppermint Patty. Some call me Peppy for short. It is estimated that I am just about 2 years old. I am super smart, I already know sit, boop, down, drop it, and leave it. I also know what they mean when they tell me to pee or poop on a walk, these are just the beginnings of words that I am learning, and I can (and want to) learn so much more! I would benefit most from a home with someone VERY active and would like to take the time to train me on many more commands. The sky is the limit as to what I can learn. I do get along with other dogs (with slow introductions), but I am also very intense, so it depends on whether the other dog is willing and able to set boundaries for me. I require slow introductions to people as well, you can't just trust everyone. Since I am young, and strong, it would be best to be in a home without children. I love to go on walks, but love yard zoomies as well, so a fenced-in yard is preferred. I am a bit of a handful, so we don't want anyone to think they are entering into this lightly with me. I will need love, time and lots of training to be the best dog I can be. In return, you will have my loyalty and love, I'm a very wonderful companion. No DNA tests have been done, but since Cattle Dog and possibly Blue Nose Pit are both on the restricted breed list, homeownership is required to adopt me. No renters. I have all had all of my shots, and am spayed. This is all included in my adoption fee, as well as a registered microchip and a full set of medical records for you and my future vet! If you are interested in meeting me, please complete an adoption application. Upon pre-approval, someone will reach out to set up a time for a meet and greet. I'm looking forward to meeting you! Only applicants who meet the following current requirements will be considered: - Homeownership, no renters - Children in the home must be 13 and up - Fenced yard not required, but preferred ##1596640##

Story
Atari: the charming and curious pup who loves to explore new territories. With a knack forstrongly pulling on his leash (but hey, who can blame him when there`s so much to see?), Atari is always up for an adventure. He`s a social butterfly, eager for pets and belly rubs from anyone and everyone. Just watch out when he`s near a fence - he`s got a bit of a feisty side when it comes to neighboring pups. But overall, Atari is a lovable goofball who will steal your heart in a wag of his tail. Atari may do best as the only dog in the household.

Story
Hello! We adopted Sable when she was 7 months old. We did not think things through because we have a 11 year old Aussie and the puppy energy is hard on our older girl. She plays really well with male dogs we have noticed and is super lovey to any and all people! She enjoys swimming and running at the dog park and walking on her leash. She is potty trained and only chews on her toys. She is one years old (June 3, 2023) and at this time the two ages are not a good fit. She would be perfect as the only dog she will be your shadow, or with a male dog. Feel free to ask any questions as we only want the best for her. She is up to date on shots and we make her food so shes really, really healthy! She is only 34 pounds seems like this will be her size.
