Story
Piper is 9 years old. She has matured from the hyper puppy with unending energy to a homebody who loves to be with her people. Piper would jump quickly to go for a walk or a couple runs of fetch in the back yard. We have never intentionally fed her from the table but she is a great Roomba for our three kids. She is well trained, but will always bark at the Amazon trucks. Loves to cuddle up on the couch. She has been sweet with all three of our children since their births but may leave the room if they bother her too much. She is loyal and very affectionate to those who appreciate & love her. She will do great with someone who wants a companion and loving presence around your home.

Story
Hi, my name is Peppermint Patty. Some call me Peppy for short. I am super smart, I already know sit, boop, down, drop it, wait, and leave it. I also know what they mean when they tell me to pee or poop on a walk, these are just the beginnings of words that I am learning, and I can (and want to) learn so much more! My favorite afternoon past-time is laying in the sun soaking up the rays (although this is Florida, so that only lasts about 10 minutes).  I would benefit most from a home with someone VERY active and would like to take the time to train me on many more commands. The sky is the limit as to what I can learn. I do get along with other dogs (with slow introductions), but I am also very intense, so it depends on whether the other dog is willing and able to set boundaries for me. I require slow introductions to people as well, you can't just trust everyone. Since I am young, and strong, it would be best to be in a home without children. I love to go on walks, but love yard zoomies as well, so a fenced-in yard is preferred. I am a bit of a handful, so we don't want anyone to think they are entering into this lightly with me. I will need love, time and lots of training to be the best dog I can be. In return, you will have my loyalty and love, I'm a very wonderful companion. No DNA tests have been done, but since Cattle Dog and possibly Blue Nose Pit are both on the restricted breed list, homeownership is required to adopt me. No renters. I have all had all of my shots, and am spayed. This is all included in my adoption fee, as well as a registered microchip and a full set of medical records for you and my future vet! If you are interested in meeting me, please complete an adoption application. Upon pre-approval, someone will reach out to set up a time for a meet and greet. I'm looking forward to meeting you! Only applicants who meet the following current requirements will be considered: - Homeownership, no renters - Children in the home must be 13 and up - Fenced yard not required, but preferred ##1596640##

Story
Meet Ollie! This100% adorable canine collaboration is in search of a new home. Ollie became a foster dog when his military family received orders that sent them to Korea. A stay that was originally slated to be a year has been extended to last the next several years and the owners have relinquished him. The foster family is now looking for a forever home. Ollie has a working dog personality, Ollie was born August 22, 2017, so he probably doesn’t want to work too hard, but daily walks, engaging play seem like ideal activities to him! Ollie would do best in a home where someone is usually around who can keep an eye on what he’s up to. He has been known to eat inappropriate things, likely out of boredom, though he doesn’t chew on furniture. He is crate trained and house trained, so he can safely be left at home alone. Ollie is u

Story
Sydney is 11.5 years old and weighs about 30 pounds. She loves to be with people, snuggle close, sleep, and take walks. She got in a fight with our other dog and they are now not able to get along together, they will fight again, and we cannot keep them separated. She would be great with anyone who does not have other pets and just wants a dog that loves people. She loves treats and loves to be close to you, being petted, etc. as you can see from the picture of her with our elderly mother who lives with us. We really wish we didn't have to give her up but she will be much happier in another loving home. We are in Florida but are willing to drive her a long way for the rehome and will provide food, bowls, toys, collars, leashes, etc. Thank you for considering her!

Story
Bandit is a young and handsome energetic pup. He is around 40lbs and is a year old. He needs a person willing to spend time continuing his training as he is young and still in the chewing stage. He is treat and attention motivated. He is crate trained, rides well in car, he has made great strides on leash walking and potty training. Bandit has a silly, fun personality. He is very curious and has a lot of potential, I would say medium to high energy but he does have an off switch. He was a little nervous during thunderstorms but just needs to know where his person is. Bandit is an all around love bug that gets along well with other dogs, is neutered, current on immunizations and on preventatives. If he sounds perfect for your family, please fill out our application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration ane transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue eforts.
