LOOKING FOR THE PERFECT ADDITION? Meet Misty! She is the perfect sweet heart who loves everyone! Misty was found on the streets of rural Mississippi as a stray. But now Misty is in a foster home in New England, and her foster family says, " This girl is a lover! She wants to snuggle and be around you as much as she can. Do you like excessive kisses? Because Misty sure does. She has done great with sit and lay down. BIG fan of trying to eat the waves. She likes to play with our dogs, and is now snuggling them (whether they like it or not). She has been great with our daughter, although she sometimes forgets her size. Misty would be a great addition to any home (family, single adult, other dogs, etc.). She sleeps in her crate at night, but we think she would make a great cuddle buddy." Misty is house trained, leash trained and crate trained! Misty Is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Please fill out an application at www.northboundrescue.com

Story
Welcome Max to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Smooth Coated Collie/Heeler mix is our best guess. He weighs 35 pounds and he loves other dogs. He is very dog friendly with all types of other dogs. He is friendly with the horses and the donkeys in his foster home. He is good on a leash, potty trained and super affectionate. He knows sit and does it very well. He is very attentive and follows direction easily. He knows shake a paw with both paws and is great on a leash. He was an outside dog in his first home and a good Samaritan took him in. He has been with a vet that had PTSD and is sometimes too rough with him. He is very loving to women and also loves men after being at the Rescue for only a week or two. He loves all people and once he knows he is safe bonds deeply and is extremely loyal and devoted companion. He would be great for a hiker, walker, jogger or any one who wants a good companion to take with you. He would be great in a doggy daycare setting as he easily gets along well with all dog personalities. He is vaccinated, healthy, neutered and ready for his forever home. He loves children with open arms and has been around them regularly. This is a WONDERFUL dog and will be a great addition to any family wanting an easy dog to bring in. He would be great for a more novice adopter as he is smart, skilled and follows direction easily. He would be a great dog for a family with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Story
Welcome Birdie to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 6-month-old dog. She is an Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie. She weighs about 30 pounds and considered a medium sized dog. She is smart and knows a lot of commands. She walks good on a leash, potty trained, good in a car, knows sit, knows trade (which) you can use to swap out what she has in her mouth with something else and a few more things. You can see the other commands in the video. We have them written on her paperwork. She is very smart and attentive. She calms down nicely and can work with some moderate distractions. She has been in foster care and the foster did a lot of work getting her ready. She would be fine in a home with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She would be best with an active outdoorsy family that wants a loveable companion to join their home. She would make a good walking companion for someone and due to her size would be able to do some brisk walking. She has the long beautiful coat of the border collie. She is looking for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Welcome Marina to CCPAL Foster Program. Marina is a 4-month-old Smooth Coated Collie/Australian Cattle dog and maybe some Pyrenees. She is about 25 pounds right now and should be 55 full grown. These pups are good with other dogs, good with kids, good in a crate and they love water. Marina is the most water dog one of this puppy litter. Dad looks like an Aussie and Border Collie and the mom looks like a Lab and Pyranees. These puppies are well cared for in their foster home. They have beautiful shiny coats and all of them are sweet and submissive. They are shy in new environments but they all warmed up quickly with affection. Marina met all kinds of new people and she was supper sweet to everyone she met. She is not a big shedding pup and she has a gorgeous shiny coat. She would be great with an active outdoorsy family. She would love to be with a family with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She has all her vaccines and is taking heartworm and flea medication monthly. Story
Windy is going to be a whole lot of fun for some lucky family. She is VERY adventurous, VERY active, VERY outgoing and has a zest for life. She is a friendly and happy girl as well and seems to love everyone that she meets. She really enjoys the outdoors too, so if you need a hand with the cattle, a hiking partner or running partner, I think she’ll be a good one. Given her activity level, she will need to be adopted by a fun and ACTIVE family. Windy didn’t come to us alone either, she came with her four puppies, Barbie, Bindi, Binky and Bodhi, who will be posted for adoption shortly. Now that she has fulfilled her motherly duties it’s her turn for a better life. She is 4-5 years old and weighs 33 pounds. She has been spayed, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, fecal tested and is current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. Her adoption fee is $400. Windy is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted she will be transported to her pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and her fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.
