Story
In a world of fur and joy, there's a Heeler named Brownie, oh so coy, With fur as red as autumn leaves, he's the cleverest of canine thieves. At two, he's full of boundless glee, a furry friend for you and me. Smart as a whip, this Heeler boy, his heart's a treasure, a boundless joy. In tricks and flips, he finds delight, learning with all his canine might. Two years old, his spirit free, a loyal friend, he longs to be. Attuned to you, his person dear, his love's a bond that's crystal clear. Bestest friend, he aims to be, beside you through eternity. Fetch and roll, and sit and stay, he'll dance and prance, bright as the day. With every bark, a tale he'll weave, of loyalty that won't deceive. He dreams of walks and treats galore, his heart, your love, forevermore. Brownie, the Heeler, red and bright, a canine star, a pure delight. In fields of green and skies so blue, he'll be the bestest friend to you. Brownie has the desire to be with his person and would make a great and loving support dog or full time companion. He is focused on his people (and the belly rubs they give!!!) Story
Are you in search of a one-of-a-kind serial kisser? Well, look no further, because I, Mandy, am the dog you've been waiting for! I come with a mix of awesomeness and a charming personality that's sure to steal your heart. I can be delightfully laid-back, enjoying those calm moments, or I can transform into a bouncing ball of joy when the mood strikes. Walks and jogs? Count me in, especially if you're by my side. But here's the thing-I love playing with other dogs so much that I often choose their company over toys. Let's talk sunbathing. If your couch has that perfect spot for catching rays, you can bet I'll be there, soaking it all in. I'm a big fan of lounging, whether it's under tables, during dinner time, while you're working at your desk, or even when you're cuddled up in bed. I'm all about being close to my people, and if you choose to adopt me, I'll be all about you! I'm a sociable girl, getting along well with other dogs and kids (especially with submissive/non-dominant dogs). My crate training and potty training with a doggy door are top-notch. I'm a pro at commands like going to my crate and sitting patiently. Now, about my diet-here's the deal: I have EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), which means my pancreas doesn't produce the enzymes I need to digest food properly. Thanks to some attentive rescuers and veterinary care, we've got it all figured out. I'll need a specific diet and a pancreatic enzyme replacement supplement to keep me feeling great. Think of it as a special appetizer and entree at every meal. EPI won't slow me down, and I'm ready to trade serial kisses for a loving forever home day in and day out. So, how about it? Mac is a sweet boy who knows what he wants! He does love to chase and play with animals smaller than him. Due to this we suggest that he does not go home to a family that has cats or things like chickens. Squirrels watch out! This little guy can move! Mac is a ham, you can't see it in his pictures but he LOVES attention :) He is good with other dogs and happy to be a friend or he could be an only dog and BASK in the undivided attention :) He is a lazy boy and does enjoy snoozing and spending time on the couch napping but at the same time can have his moments where he is ready to go. He is housebroken and does just fine in a crate! If he sounds like the boy for you then don't wait! Story
Meet Phineas! Phineas is a very energetic medium-sized pup. He was previously adopted from God's Dogs when he was 3 months old, but recently returned through no fault of his own. Phineas is a goofy guy: he smiles & makes "air chomps, when he is happy or while playing with a canine buddy. He is also a water baby! He loves jumping into the baby swimming pool & attempting to dig out the water in between breaks for zoomies & wrestling. Because of confidence issues and a high play drive, he must have a canine companion. He is crate trained, and requires crating for meals & high-value treats. With his great looks, sweet/derpy demeanor, and love for people of all ages, dogs, & cats, Phineas is a great addition for an active household! Story
Welcome Max to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Smooth Coated Collie/Heeler mix is our best guess. He weighs 35 pounds and he loves other dogs. He is very dog friendly with all types of other dogs. He is friendly with the horses and the donkeys in his foster home. He is good on a leash, potty trained and super affectionate. He knows sit and does it very well. He is very attentive and follows direction easily. He knows shake a paw with both paws and is great on a leash. He was an outside dog in his first home and a good Samaritan took him in. He has been with a vet that had PTSD and is sometimes too rough with him. He is very loving to women and also loves men after being at the Rescue for only a week or two. He loves all people and once he knows he is safe bonds deeply and is extremely loyal and devoted companion. He would be great for a hiker, walker, jogger or any one who wants a good companion to take with you. He would be great in a doggy daycare setting as he easily gets along well with all dog personalities. He is vaccinated, healthy, neutered and ready for his forever home. He loves children with open arms and has been around them regularly. This is a WONDERFUL dog and will be a great addition to any family wanting an easy dog to bring in. He would be great for a more novice adopter as he is smart, skilled and follows direction easily. He would be a great dog for a family with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Story
Welcome Birdie to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 6-month-old dog. She is an Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie. She weighs about 30 pounds and considered a medium sized dog. She is smart and knows a lot of commands. She walks good on a leash, potty trained, good in a car, knows sit, knows trade (which) you can use to swap out what she has in her mouth with something else and a few more things. You can see the other commands in the video. We have them written on her paperwork. She is very smart and attentive. She calms down nicely and can work with some moderate distractions. She has been in foster care and the foster did a lot of work getting her ready. She would be fine in a home with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She would be best with an active outdoorsy family that wants a loveable companion to join their home. She would make a good walking companion for someone and due to her size would be able to do some brisk walking. She has the long beautiful coat of the border collie. She is looking for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Story
Welcome Marina to CCPAL Foster Program. Marina is a 4-month-old Smooth Coated Collie/Australian Cattle dog and maybe some Pyrenees. She is about 25 pounds right now and should be 55 full grown. These pups are good with other dogs, good with kids, good in a crate and they love water. Marina is the most water dog one of this puppy litter. Dad looks like an Aussie and Border Collie and the mom looks like a Lab and Pyranees. These puppies are well cared for in their foster home. They have beautiful shiny coats and all of them are sweet and submissive. They are shy in new environments but they all warmed up quickly with affection. Marina met all kinds of new people and she was supper sweet to everyone she met. She is not a big shedding pup and she has a gorgeous shiny coat. She would be great with an active outdoorsy family. She would love to be with a family with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She has all her vaccines and is taking heartworm and flea medication monthly. Story
My given name from my foster mom is exactly who I am. Asta... this name means "divine strength", "love", and "star-like". I was abandoned by my first family on the side of the highway for a few months with my sister Kinsley. She was my protector during that time. I was terribly traumatized by being abandoned. Today I'm a shining star with beautiful grey eyes that match my coat. I like to play and go on backyard adventures with my sister and dog foster family. I like everyone and get along with other dogs and I'm a bit submissive and respectful towards everyone. I have beautiful pleading grey eyes that draw attention and make most ppl say awwwww and have a low key nature about me. We love each other very much and want to stay together for life! Please find it in your heart to adopt us together! We promise years of love and fun :) Local adoption fee together is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee together is $600 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)
