Story
Meet Clark! Clark is an adorable and sweet Blue Heeler that is approximately 3 years old. He has typical dense heeler fur that he loves to have you scratch. He loves attention, does well with other dogs but would prefer to be an only dog. He has been exposed to cats and will leave them alone. He is not recommended for homes with small children because he can be protective of his food, treats, and people. He is overall just a sweet, cuddly, friendly, and fun little guy once he warms up to his person / people. It will take time for him to adjust in his new home so his new people need to be patient and loving. He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area. Story
Rocky is an 11-month-old, 52 Ib. bundle of love with an incredible mix of breeds (American Staffordshire Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, English Shepherd) that make him truly one-of-a-kind! With his soft white coat, expressive eyes, and playful energy, Rocky is sure to steal your heart. This sweet boy was found roaming the streets of Texas before being rescued, and he's now safe in a foster home in Connecticut where he has been since March. We don't know much about Rocky's past, but he is shy and cautious when meeting new people. However, once he feels comfortable, his sweet and affectionate side shines through. He adores belly rubs, cuddles, and will happily offer you kisses when he's ready. He loves to chew on bones and will come running from any room in the house for a piece of ice when he hears the freezer door open. Rocky just needs time and patience to build trust, so he'll do best with an experienced dog owner. Rocky is currently living with multiple dogs in his foster home and gets along well with them. He'd thrive in a home with another dog to help boost his confidence and make him feel more secure. Having another pup is a requirement for his adoption. Rocky is more comfortable around women and would do best in a calm, quiet home with teens and up. This smart boy is both house and crate trained (although he'd prefer to be by your side). Rocky is highly food-motivated, which makes training a lot easier. He needs a family that's committed to helping him continue building his confidence and will be around often to support his growth. Rocky will not do well being locked in a crate and alone for hours at a time. A fenced yard is a must to give Rocky the space he needs to explore safely. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this adorable, loving pup, Rocky will reward you with endless love and companionship. His adoption fee is $450 and he is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered.
