Story
please read descriptionLibby is an 11-month-old Heeler/Malinois mix who had a tough start in life—abandoned as a newborn and bottle-raised by rescuers—which helped shape her incredibly affectionate, people-focused nature. She loves deeply and forms strong bonds with her humans. With a big personality, a gorgeous Malinois-style head, and even bigger energy, Libby is an exceptionally smart, fun-loving young pup. At about 50 pounds, she is potty trained, kennel trained, and rides wonderfully in the car. Libby loves her walks and is learning to walk politely on a leash. She’s an active, enthusiastic girl who would thrive in a home with a fenced yard and another playful, energetic dog. She does well with all dogs and has never shown aggression. Because she can be a bit rambunctious, we recommend older children and households without very small or senior dogs. She hasn’t been tested with cats but hasn’t shown signs of prey drive. This playful pup enjoys tug-of-war, fetch, and cuddling up at the end of the day—whether in her kennel or in your bed, if allowed. Because she is extremely intelligent and requires both mental and physical stimulation, Libby needs an adopter who is not only active and patient but also confident with training and excited to help her reach her full potential. Libby is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $100. Please apply at www.misfitsdogrescue.orgDecember 11, 2025, 2:51 pm

Story
Meet magnificent Jewel, a gorgeous 4 year old white heeler mix eager for fun! This active girl loves going on walks and making new furry friends along the way. Though she looks robust, Jewel enjoys keeping busy and will thrive in an equally energetic home. After playtime, this sweet girl is quite the cuddle bug, content to lazily chew on a toy or soak up some sunshine while resting. Jewel spent most of her recent life as a solo dog and will need some socialization to newcomers both human and animal. But she warms up quickly with proper introductions. Outgoing Jewel rides nicely in the car and makes an excellent alert companion, letting her people know whenever someone is at the door. All she wants is an active family to call her own that gives her plenty of devotion, playtime, and adventure together. Jewel will turned 4 in March - what better present than finding her happy furever home at last! If you’re seeking a loyal dog with just as much tenacious spirit as snuggly affection to give, look no further than darling Jewel! If you are interested in integrating Jewels into your family please apply at https://www.fromforgottentoforever.com/adoptionapplication/
