Story
Cooper, Blue Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Cooper tends to be shy at first but warms up pretty quick. He has a lot of energy and loves playing with Junie going on walks and exploring with her. He LOVES attention. He is a very loving and loyal dog with the silliest personality. I think he may be more human than dog. He gets along with other dogs but does take a minute to acclimate to them. He loves to give kisses (I think he was a lizard in his past life…hahaha). Junie, Australian Shepherd/Heeler, 4.5 yrs., 40-45 lbs. Junie is a very loving and loyal dog. She is the boss and loves keeping Cooper in line. She likes to go on walks and explore with him. She gets along with other dogs great, but she will growl when she has had her fill. She will not nip or bite. She is a bit more relaxed and laid back than Cooper, but still loves to play around with him. She also is a bit of an attention hog. She will stare through your soul until you acknowledge her. She is very in tune with human emotion and will snuggle with you when you are sad. She’s a very sweet soul. She also may be more human than dog. They are a bonded pair. They have grown up together and I would hate to separate them. They are soulmates and I would love for them to stay together. I understand that this is a lot to ask, but they are so worth it! We are having to re-home them due to a move across the country. This means we will be living out of a small camper and traveling all over the southeast. I don’t feel that this is a fair life for my pups to live. They love to run and play, and they wouldn’t get this freedom if they came with us.

Story
Hello - my name is Frankie! I'm from Texas and guessed to be a Lab / Cattle Dog mix. I am a handsome pup with lots of energy, hoping to find my furever home in Colorado! I'm about 2 years old and weigh aboout 68 lbs, I love to run and play ball and would do best with a big fenced yard and an outgoing family willing to spend time training with me and include me on adventures. I'm confident, kinda selective about my dog-friends (does best with submissive females), and also a quick learner - especially if you have hot dogs. Sure would be great if you could come by Windsor and meet me!

Story
Birthdate Oct 19, 2024 Apollo is a cuddly and calm dog. He does not back down when playing, so he will not be a submissive dog. He needs to be in a home with a submissive dog so that there will be no conflict in the future. He is my little shadow, and follows me around everywhere. Usually sitting on my feet.

Story
Tula will be available for adoption on Wednesday, December 18. She is available to meet before then, just can't go home any sooner! She weighs between 20 & 30 pounds. Tula is a two year-old cattle dog mix who had a litter of four puppies. She was a good mama, but now needs a home of her own. She LOVES people and the children in her foster home (9-17). Wants cuddles all the time. Since she's just had puppies she has a lot of hormones, so we think a slow intro is going to be best with any dog, since her body is still full of mama hormones! She's a beautiful and petite gal, looking for a home! Come meet her in Wellington if you think she might be a fit!!

Story
Meet Cammi this 3 year old Australian Cattle dog is a story of resilience. She came from a home in Oklahoma where strays just randomly showed up. She had been there one to two months, and her skin condition was heartbreaking, Cammi is so sweet and precious, that women that found her in Oklahoma could not just leave her behind so they got her into the vet where she is being treated for demodex mange (non-contagious). She is now in a foster home, her skin is improving, and she is loving her new life! She currently lives with other dogs, loves children, and will make a wonderful companion and family member! Come and meet her in Windsor!
